Eliquis and Diastolic Heart Failure
I've been on Eliquis for 1-1/2 months. At first I was having a problem with low blood pressure. I noticed that 2 hours after I took Eliquis (5 mg.), my blood pressure would drop considerably, e.g. from 102/68 to 90/58. Now I'm noticing a trend where the systolic number will be normal to elevated and

Peppermint oil for gas pains?!
Hello ladies, Just wondered if anyone knows where I could get hold of some peppermint oil/water? Seems a lot of places have aromatherapy oil, but don't think that is very drinkable!!? Got given some at the hosp which was amazing! Thanks 💕

Hello, my question is are there any vitamins i should avoid while on Eliquis (Apixaban)? Ive had to come off my contraceptive pill because ive had DVT and its recommended that i take vitamins such as the Bs and minerals such as magnesium and zync to regulate my hormones. Too Expensive
Had my RF Ablation Wed, May 3rd. Do y'all really pay that expensive price for Eliquis? Is that forever?

How long does it take to see an effect? I've just started taking these...also bought peppermint oil tabs which are to take 1 before a meal..trying hard with diet but waiting for bowels to work is key😳So now very bloated last night and still this morning ...and took laxative before bed to help get things

2 months & still waiting for cardiologist
After a 24 hour ECG ordered by my GP in January I was told I had SVT and prescribed bisoprolol, which helped a little at first but had some unpleasant side-effects. A month later I returned and the dose was increased as I still had palpitations. A month after that it was reduced again due to side-effects

Eliquis (apixaban) sticker shock in USA - how is it in UK?
When I picked up my first 30 day supply of Eliquis I was told that it costs $420.00. After pharmacist checked with my drug insurance it came to $199.00. The first thing that came to my mind was how can so many people without insurance afford to get it. Many elderly live on Social Security check of 1,500.00

Tread softly?
I belong to a Facebook group that recommends products, all sorts but mostly beauty/well being. Someone has asked for recommendations for products that help bloating and she has a mass of replies suggesting charcoal, peppermint oil, pro biotics etc. No one has said, 'Bloating can be a symptom of ovarian

Off of Flecainide and Metoprolol just 1 month after ablation
Just to share my experience post ablation because I see I am not the only one worrying. I was kind of surprised to hear from my EP to stop both medications just one month after the ablation - cold turkey. The explanation was that I was on Fleca "only" 9 months and just a small dose of Metopropolol

Cough
I seem to have a slight cough, these days. Not constantly, but enough that my wife has mentioned it. Just a little more than a clearing the throat kind. Has anyone heard if this could be a side effect of Eliquis?

Conflicting doctors advice
Hi... My EP nurse says I should be on Eliquis for the rest of my life to be on the safe side. My cardiologist says after your abalations have been successful for a certain amount of time you should get off it because of the risk of internal bleeding...what to do when two very good doctors have opposing

2ww - nausea
Has anyone tried taking peppermint oil capsules during the 2ww? I'm feeling slightly nauseous and peppermint oil capsules normally help, but I'm not sure if it's safe to take them or not. I know there are some essential oils you're meant to avoid completely.

Feeling exhausted
I am new here. I have been on Diltiazem, Eliquis (Apixaban),Hydrochlorothiazide, Rosuvastatin for a couple of years now after a AF diagnosis. No surgery. This last few months I am feeling exhausted after only a few hours even after a decent nights sleep. I feel like I could just go back to bed.
