My feelings after ablation surgery
I had a fib ablation and flutter ablation on Jun 6, 2017 and I feel so much better. Got out of hospital on Wednesday and was back to work on Thursday. I've been able to work out 5 times a week and I teach a spin class once a week. All I take is Eliquis. Doctor took me off of Sotalol. I feel so

Post-Eliquis
I've been off of Eliquis for almost a week now and have been having all kinds of side-effects: peripheral neuropathy which came out of nowhere, low blood pressure, and just a general sense of heart not feeling well. Anyone else experience this or anything else?? Thanks

Speedy heart
I have Afib and high blood pressure, I was just in the hospital for the AFIB. I was put on SOTALOL and taken off Carvedilol and Diltiazem, I also am still taking Losartan, Eliquis, Atorvastatin and 81mg aspirin. Will these meds keep my blood pressure and Afib under control?

Lupus Anticoagulant
Hi! I was diagnosed with LA just recently. I am on Eliquis twice a day. There have been no problems with the medication and I am grateful for that. Unfortunately, my insurance will not cover it. I got a trial card at the hospital. What other medications are as easy as Eliquis? And will I have to be on

Post ablation-1year. Having irregular heartbeats lately but rate stays around 70. Feel quivers at night lasting only a few seconds.
It has been a while since I have been on here. Had an ablation after being diagnosed with afib last July. Have had minimal episodes during first 3 months and only episodes of "skipped of beats" lately. However I have noticed quivers at night or at rest. They go away when I take a deep breath. It feels

Eliquis and Xarelto for A-fib: how do you know it's working?
HI -- i've had a-fib for several years but only recently started anticoagulant: Eliquis. If anyone here takes this or Xarelto -- do you get blood tested for coagulation rate? how do you and your doctor know if it is working, being properly absorbed, or if you are in theraputic range? The research literature

IBS: Advice about travel care, and about other people ...
Hi I am new to the Forum. I have a long term but very intermittent spastic colon problem, and as it's tending to get more frequent (and worse, less warning) as I get older, I'm seeking advice on two things. One is, is there anything you can take when you are travelling to reduce the risk of having a

Other heart problems after ablation?
I would be very interested in hearing about anyone in this group who has developed other heart problems after having an ablation for Afib. I ask because last July I had cryoblation for my Afib and was doing okay until this past March when I developed some problems: tired, out of breath when I did anything

Phrenic nerve damage
I had my first ablation April 26th and it was an extensive ablation also. My shortness of breath and dry cough were my major complaint after the procedure. Could not get a definitive answer as to why I was so short of breath. My EP came to town and I was able to see him and found I was out of rhythm

3 months post ablation follow up and stopping Eliquis in 3 months?!
My EP was happy to inform me that 2 weeks of wearing monitor did not record anything bad. My recovery was tough for the first 2 months - shortness of breath and fatigue. Then one day everything changed as if I never had Afib nor ablation. I was off Metoprolol and Flecainidine after 1 months and he
