Blood in urine Eliquis?
I have been doing well since my ablation just over a year ago. My phrenic nerve was paralysed which caused me some discomfort but that seems at last,to have healed. My latest concern is....I noticed that my urine is very bright and I mentioned it to the doctor when I went for something else. It was

Eliquis and shortness of breath
How to deal with the shortness of breath attributed to Eliquis. Is there a good time to take it to avoid the side effect when walking as part of my exercise program? Is there another blood thinner that does not have this side effect? Being outside is so important for my mental health during this crisis

I have been suffering from autoimmune issues for about a year and a half now. I believe it started with leaky gut, developed sibo, and now have some sort of other issue. None of the doctors I saw had any idea how to help me and just kept wanting to put me on more meds. Through my own research I was able

Does Eliquis affect APS test results?
Hi everyone, I'm currently recovering from my second DVT in 9 months and am on Eliquis. I've had low positive Igg anti cardiolipin tests in the past, but had negative ones since. Today I got my results back and they are 35 Igg anticardiolipin and 1:160 ANA speckled . Can Eliquis cause false positives

Cardioversion
I am going for a Cardioversion in 6 weeks for my Persistent Afib, so am on Eliquis in preparation to accompany my (delightful!) Bisoprolol. How successful is the procedure? Any poll anywhere? I have heard that a lot of people revert back to AF in as little as a few days, even my consultant said that

I'm non Afib most of time (Afib attacks 5-6/yr.) Doc says Eliquis but 200 mg. Flaccanide gets me in sinus in 4 hrs. Must I take Eliquis too?
I'm a 76 yrs. old male, in excellent health and very active. If I have 4 to 6 bouts of Afib a year it's usually when I overdo things like heavy skiing, yard work or hiking and then have a few beers (2 to no more than 4) later. I now know this is not good for my Afib and am getting better recognizing

PFO, To close or not to close?
PV JAK2+, I’ve had an MI (4 years ago) and TIA (3 months ago) Docs thought the TIA was caused by a clot traveling through a PFO to my brain. Had two TEE (very invasive) and one TTE - believe it or not all with different results. Spoke with the interventional cardiologist today (by phone of course) -

Severe abdominal bloating
Hi. First time poster here and looking for help. In October last year I had the worst abdominal bloating ever. No pain. It was there all day but increased after meals. I’m very slim so it’s really noticeable and really depressing me. My GP checked my bloods to rule out ovarian cancer and found the following

How long do I need to stop Eliquis before eye surgery
I am thinking of having surgery on my eyes for Ectropion lower eye lid problem. I was told I would have to stop my Eliquis for 6 days before and two days after surgery. these seem long to me. I would like to know what is a reasonable time to go without the drug.

Anyone else taking Eliquis? Noticed any side effects?
My doc has put me on twice a day aspirin and twice a day eliquis (anti-coagulent). Been taking it for over a month now and seemingly no issues. Though yesterday and continuing today I am feeling a bit more light headed than usual. Perhaps its totally unrelated. I'll be starting on Pegasys shortly, but

Eliquis
Hi ... can l take Eliquis with squid oil? Why was l prescribed 5.0 mg. Eliquis twice per day instead of 2.5 mg. Twice per day? Why do they start with the higher dose rather than the lowest dose? It’s weird!
