Something to try if you suffer from the dreaded MPN itches
I did more research on
Pepcid
and saw that there is quite a bit of information out there that it can help a lot with covid-19 symptoms.

Betaine with pepsin or PPI?
So I was diagnosed with a Hiatal Hernia and GERD ( Barretts) on Friday after getting a scope. The gastroenterologist wants me to start taking PPI medication to reduce acid. My research leads me to believe that us hashi sufferers more than likely suffer from low stomach acid. Im thinking of ignoring his

This time they gave me lots of pre meds iv( Benadryl, Zofran,
Pepcid
, Steroids and then 2 Tylenol by mouth. That was a sleepy day from the beginning. At least no reactions this time. Now it will be February 1 for the first full dose. Thanks everyone for your support!

Weird feeling 3 weeks after getting stents.
Medications taken :
Pepcid
twice a day Levothyroxine 25 mcg Amlodipine 10 mg Plavix Aspirin 81 mg I was taking Omeprazole daily for more than 15 years before switching to
Pepcid
recently. Mostly so that I could drink beer. I have quit drinking and occasional smoking after getting stents.

How to stop heartburn/GERD
I've been on 100mg levo for about 14mths now. I take Vit D and iron supplements (tummy friendly apparently) and feel well..... except for fact I now get almost daily attacks of GERD. I've done the baking powder test and feel quite convinced I have low acid issues. I take apple cider vinegar and Betaine

Persistent dry cough after Chemo and radiation
He is trying an acid reducer
Pepcid
. He had a very bad reaction to Prilosec when he tried that. We think it might be acid reflux. Has anyone had this super distressing side effect and found some relief.

Back on T4 only with Endocrinologist. Feel good but still bloated daily 😞
So I’m being monitored by an Endocrinologist in South Wales. I’ve decided to drop my NDT (was on Thai Thiroyd which is no longer available). I’m now only on Accord Levothyroxine. The specific brand is named on my prescription, and the Endocrinologist said I should not be on different brands (hurrah for

Prednisone taper and fever
I have chronic dyspepsia , but it has been well controlled on minimal
Pepcid
for a few years. Now it has gone crazy. It may be part Pandemic fatigue, but I think the prednisone withdrawal is doing it. My primary doubled my
Pepcid
dose. That is working.

A little indigestion but I take
Pepcid
for that now. Gemzar burns a little going in but that’s because I have tiny veins. The nurse slowed down the rate of administration so that helped.

Vegetarian Pepsin?
I’m told my daughter needs to supplement with HCL and Pepsin. However I can only find pepsin made from pigs and she is allergic to all things mammalian (alpha gal from a tick bite!). Does anyone know of a vegetarian form of pepsin?

Anxiety and heartburn lately
It keeps coming back and now I take an OTC
Pepcid
to have manage it. Is this something new I have to worry about? It makes me anxious because I didnt have these issues before? Can it just be the situation and just manage it for now.

Is taking hcl with pepsin and not feeling a reaction like a warm stomach or acid reflux a sign of low stomach acid in itself?
Hello sorry to bother everybody but when I have a very specific question I can’t find the answer on google I turn here. I’ve been taking hcl and pepsin since I’ve been told it aids in digestion and that low stomach acid is possibly responsible for development of food allergies and infections like sibo

what interferes with hcl and pepsin?
Hello I’m hypothyroid and wondering if anyone has any information on what interferes with hcl and pepsin? I’m currently taking dhea and progesterone and wondering if either of these would effect stomach acid. Can’t find anything online so thought I’d ask the experts
