Shingles and fucidin
I have shingles since 24th Dec. Some are still weeping on my back despite being treated with Acicllovir. My GP has prescribed Fucidin today. When I applied it the shingles have become redder and stinging. I saw on one website that Fucidin is not recommended for shingles. Advice please.

Missing period and pain
Dear all, I hope you are having a good day. As I look out of my window, I see what is bright sunshine glowing against a beautiful blue sky on a chilly morning, and while I should be happy; I am not. I have had deep endometriosis for many years and had 7 laparoscopies to date where the endo was diathermied

Hi everyone, So today I had an appointment in the pain clinic. (I've previously had 1 lot of spinal and lumbar injections which didn't work) We had a good chat about my pain, my meds, my weight and my mental health. It was decided today that I'm to go back in 2 weeks with my tens machine so she can

WE DETERMINED THAT I HAD LYME INDUCED PARRKINSONISM AND THAT THE NEURO LYME BUGS WERE BLOCKING MY DOPAMINE UPTAKE AS THIS NEURO HAD NEVER SEEN ANYONE IMPROVE

Long term side effects of Listeria Meningitis and the DWP
Not quite sure how to word this. I had meningitis in 2005. Initially suffered total memory loss, spent 10 weeks in hospital, had to learn to walk/breath etc again. And couldn't and still cannot remember a lot of things. I, for this day cannot remember the affection for the girlfriend I had at the time

Pudendal Nerve, or bladder spasms? Or both?!
Last June I started to feel like I was getting a UTI. Mild dull pelvic ache around the mons pubis area, and the feeling of needing to urinate when I didn't - again very mild. Was put on around 6 different types of antibiotics, even though urine samples sent to lab came back negative for infection

Fatigue four years post viral meningitis
Hi there, I had viral meningitis on October 2012. I am currently working full time in the education area. I am experiencing some crushing fatigue and brain malfunctioning at different times. Usually when I am not so busy so the adrenaline doesn't keep me going. I have suffered chronic migraines post

Tens Machine.
I think I have Carpel Tunnel and was thinking of using my Tens machine. I was wondering if it was safe to use with AF. I have used a one before I was diagnosed with Carpel tunnel in my other wrist. I did read somewhere saying it might not be ?

I've taken two tranexamic acid before I started bleeding
Hello, anyone got any advice? I started getting the usual heavy feeling I always get prior to my period starting and I prematurely took two tranexamic acid tablets (as I'm away from home staying with family for a big birthday celebration). I'm normally regular as clockwork, so I took it assuming I was

Meningitis.
I was only 17 when I was diagnosed, to others this may not mean much to others. But for me it means the last 4 years I've lost a social life, friends and relationships because of meningitis. My symptoms are recurring, daily headaches, vomiting, hot/cold flushes, I even suffer with being deaf in one ear

Undiagnosed chronic pelvic/abdo pain
Hi everyone. I recently joined the forum and this is my first post. I'm 32 and have been suffering with undiagnosed abdominal and pelvic pain for 6 months. It came on fairly suddenly, my bowels seem fine and the pain is largely affected by movement or positioning - particularly sitting down upright,
