Ureteric Stents
Hi Ladies, I've just recently had a laparoscopy to clear
adhesions
from my
pelvic
cavity, I've had ureteric stents inserted which will stay in for another 2weeks and I'm finding it really hard to cope.

General enquiry
I had my first one done last Wednesday to which they removed a cyst of my left ovary, treated me for endemetriosis (which I never knew I had) & also found multiple bowel
adhesions
to left
pelvic
wall with marked pelvic congestion.

Confused. Adhesions/pudendal neuralgia
I'm just wondering if anyone on this site has bowel
adhesions
and lower
pelvic
pain which worsens at period times? I'm positive I haven't got endometriosis as the last laparascopy was performed by an endo specialist.

Laparoscopic Adhesiolysis and bleeding
Turns out I had several
pelvic
adhesions
; uterus to
pelvic
wall, right ovary to uterus to list a couple. I'm hoping that the surgery will now stop the problems I've been having long enough for my husband and I to conceive but time will tell. The problem I currently have is bleeding and tiredness.

Pelvic adhesions, advice needed
13 months of pain resulted in a recent Laparoscopy to release adhesions following hysterectomy 3 years ago. Bowel was stuck to vagina, bladder and peritoneum. In amongst this my ureter had become stuck and I've now got a ureteral stent which is horrible. During the laparoscopy they discovered my Fallopian

First period after laparoscopy
I had my first laparoscopy on 28/10/14, they found moderate endometriosis around both ovaries and tubes, and
adhesions
were found to cover most of the
pelvic
cavity. It was all removed with helica laser and I had the mirena coil put in during the op.

Diagnosed with severe endo but no surgery
They also confirmed I have scar tissue and
adhesions
in my bowel and
pelvic
walls and that my ovaries are stuck together (kissing, i hate this term!).

Before this my surgan said he could feel my uterus was 'stuck' to my
pelvic
wall and he suspected
adhesions
or endometriosis, finally i felt something was going to get done.

Laparoscopy today
They didnt find endometriosis or
adhesions
in me instead they found a severe
pelvic
infection that had spread to my vagina. I have no idea if the laparoscopy has made this worse or its the laparoscopy itself that has caused this. My mum was quite concered because i have become very pale.

Flying and bleeding!
I have endo, bowel
adhesions
and venous
pelvic
congestion, and I have the Mirena. I have noticed much heavier bleeding which lasts several days longer after I have been on a plane. This has happened a couple of times. Anyone else have this or is it just me?!! xx

no endo found but adhesions - chronic pelvic and back pain - help!
Hi I am hoping there is someone out there who is having similar issues to me (obviously dont wish it on anyone) but struggling to make sense of my laparoscopy results. Let me start at the beginning: For about half a year now I have been struggling with pelvic pain. Sometimes its sharp breath taking

Over 40 when you give birth?
C-section will re damage scar tissue from multiple myomectomy and could leave me with more
adhesions
and prolong chronic
pelvic
pain - this time with a newborn to look after.

Cannot do this anymore
Noted I had excessive bowel looping and probably had fixed
pelvic
adhesions
from previous gynao surgery including a total hysterectomy. Was given HRT to deal with the urethra problem and given a diagnosis of IBS, told everything was normal.

Experiences with Provera
I do however have "multiple adhesions" in my abdominal area; my Gyne was unable to view my
pelvic
region due to the severity of my
adhesions
. I have been told that they can treat my adhesions but this would be quite complex and would only have a 50% chance of reducing my pain.

Taken off hospital list - what to do??
I was finally diagnosed with endometriosis, bowel
adhesions
and
pelvic
congeston syndrome after a laparoscopy last year. The surgeon told me all this whilst I was just coming round from anaesthetic so was a bit hard to take everything in!

6 weeks post op, pain back!
Left ovary and
pelvic
wall separated and
adhesions
removed from same area, also dye test, hysteroscopy and smear. The pain is coming back with a vegance and I look 6 months pregnant. I stopped my zoladex 8 weeks ago so I'm guessing it could ovary waking up again?!

PIP for pelvic / abdominal adhesions and anxiety / depression
Has anyone claimed PIP for pelvic conditions? If so how did you find the application process? I am just filling in the forms. I hear it is usual to get asked for a medical.

Pelvic adhesions
Hello. Is it best to leave adhesions alone or to surgically treat them? I have extensive adhesions sticking things together. These adhesions have be caused by surgery and endometriosis . Any recommendations for medications specifically for adhesion pain? Thanks Cuddlybarb
