Coping with people who do not understand
Hi Ladies, Currently recovering from a laproscopy - endo was ablated,
adhesions
removed, ovaries were fused to
pelvic
wall and detatched, also had mirena coil fitted.

6 weeks after surgery 🙂
Hi everyone, I had my first lap on the 14th December, my consultant informed me after my procedure that I had severe endo, on my bowel,
pelvic
wall,
Adhesions
throughout my abdo and stomach. I had a large cyst removed and my right fallopan tube. My uterus is reported to be very bulky.

Does bowel endo always show on MRI ?
I've had chronic
pelvic
pain since a lap where they removed endometrioma and
adhesions
on large bowel 20 months ago it's gradually got worse and I can't work anymore as it really effects my mobility.

Lindle knows best - lap completed :)
The plan was to remove left ovary and tube as ultrasound suggested
pelvic
congestion. They did this, removed
adhesions
, disconnected my right tube/ovary as it was messy round there (bit unclear, why do they talk to you just as you come round?).

Pelvic pain, endo or adhesions?
For the past year I've had a strange pulling pain almost like a stitch, the pain comes on day 1 of my period and lasts for the following 3 weeks, I have about 6/7days pain free a month and this has been continuous for the past 12 months. The pain only used to really be noticeable when I was laid down

Has anyone had a return of symptoms after excision?
I always had a horrible pain on the right side/ovary area and when they went in last year they found my right ovary encased in a "
pelvic
deformity" which I guess was a load of
adhesions
, it made my ovary stick to my
pelvic
wall. No wonder I was getting pain there.

Still painful and still no answers.
He told me they removed
adhesions
from the cul-de-sac, right
pelvic
wall (where that complex cyst was), and the right perivascular area. They removed my appendix and also my Paragard during surgery. I was to do a follow up in a week to see what the pathology report said.

Full hysterectomy help please
Also what help did you have after your hyster with the hospital or GP, like
pelvic
floor therapy, massage to help with
adhesions
, pain management etc. Did any of you use natural remedies to help with menopause?

IBS under control, but still pelvic pain
and strong pain is more likely
adhesions
(identified last year during laparoscopy) and will just need to find the best medication to control the pain.

TOT aftermath
I suspect my
pelvic
pain is to do with scar
adhesions
but having the corrected opens me up to further complications. I guess my high tolerance to pain is what has helped me through and I also attended a pain clinic which has changed the way I deal with and think about my pain.

Really worried!
It was confirmed that I have endo on my utersacral ligaments,
adhesions
on my appendix and
pelvic
side wall and my sigmoid colon! My gyne put me on a 3 month back to back course of mygrogynon 30 to suppress the endo! Normally mycrogynon has been good for me and does work!

Endo treatments other than the combined pill?
It was on my womb, POD, left & right

wall and I also had bowel
adhesions
. I'm waiting for a detailed letter to be sent to my GP and the gynae wants to see me in 4 months. Ive been on the pill to treat pain for years now.

How many of you ladies have been through this? What was the outcome?
Had
adhesions
removed from
pelvic
wall and ligaments. I've been in worse pain since March (last lap date) I've been admitted to hospital twice monthly since (When I'm ovulating and when my period starts).I live on tramadol & oramorph.

Long adhesion history
I have a twenty year history of abdominal and
pelvic
adhesions
AFTER having "total hysterectomy" years before. I had the procedures young due to my mother's history.

Need a few answers?
Hey ladies, so I got diagnosed with endo on 10th Feb with diagnostic lap, moderate endo in both ovarian fossae, broad patch on pouch of Douglas, and
pelvic
wall and
pelvic
ligaments with
adhesions
In all those places, I'm due to see the gynae specialist on the 28th of April to discuss what to do next

C-Section after gynae surgery
During the surgeries we found out I have extensive
pelvic
adhesions
and it became more and more difficult for my surgeon to 'get in' each time.
