Pelvic adhesions

I previously enquired about this and was told i had scar tissue/pelvic adhesions. The problem I have now is that the pain is so severe it is affecting my daily quality of life.

hi everyone, I had excision surgery 10 days ago - they removed a lot of adhesions around my bowel, pelvic wall, pararectal space and had to release my ovaries that were stuck to the walls of my pelvis too. I have a lot of scarring in the pouch of Douglas too.

Hi everyone, any knowledge on pelvic Adhesions please? I would like to know how it came about and a solution to it.

Hi, I have severe adhesions across all my pelvic organs and on my bowels and liver. No endo diagnosis but I am awaiting a second laparoscopy to remove the adhesions and see what's underneath.

Deep pelvic endometriosis with adhesions between the posterior uterus and sigmoid. Adhesions between the right ovary and the sigmoid. No infiltrative plaque into bowel lumen.

I had endometrioma's removed from my ovaries, lots of adhesions removed from right pelvic wall and endometriosis removed from surface of the bowel. I'm presuming it was excised but I won't know for sure until I see my consultant in two weeks.

All that was found on my surgical notes was 'sigmoid adhesions of the large bowel to the pelvic side wall - physiological' I am awaiting follow up and nobody discussed it with me after my lap. I was just wondering if anyone could decipher this?

Doctors informed tissues has been removed and also adhesions. But I still feel the pelvic pain and goes down the legs. Not just that I can feel my nerves sore in my arms and all the joints. Gynecologist said legs can affected with endometriosis but not the arms.

Hi guys, Just had my surgery, I’ve been having pain on the right side of my stomach and they found that my colon and ovary was stuck to my left pelvic wall could this be causing the pain?

I have just been diagnosed (not 100% on which is worse until my surgery) with Endometriosis and I also have Pelvic adhesions from a past laparoscopy surgery for an ovarian cyst. This happened about 10 years ago when I was 16. I have had issue with bleeding, periods and very bad pain ever since.

Following this I had things like pain & bleeding during and after sex, constant pain in my back and my legs… over the years it got worse, I had many scans etc in my mid to late twenties & I was diagnosed twice with adenomyosis, I also had a laparoscopy which also confirmed pelvic adhesions from previous

Adhesions were 'carefully divided', 'endometrioma was removed ' and 'rectovaginal septum could be dissected down but not fully'. All of this was in my post surgery letter.

Endometriosis and adhesions where everywhere and my organs stuck to pelvic cavity wall. I am now nearly 10 weeks post operation. I still have terrible bloating which puts pressure on my diagram and lungs.

I also have left sided pain up to my left rib which the gynae considers may be more adhesions between the bowel and pelvic wall.

I had my laparoscopy in January and they found "extensive" endometriosis on the pelvic sidewalls and uterosacral areas, with adhesions to my bowel-uterus. I also have adenomyosis. I had a mirena coil fitted whilst I was under the GA.

Hi I’ve got endometriosis specifically adhesions around bowel and pelvic area I had an MRI scan on NHS beginning of April but still waiting for a consultation appointment to come through to discuss results and treatment options For the last few months though I’m finding there are more and more day

Hi,I am an old veteran to Endometriosis, 30 years now since I was first diagnosed  and I have just had 4th Laparoscopy.The diagnosis was a mass that is compressing the kidney pipe causing swelling in the kidney.I also have big mass adhesions that have stuck the large colon to the pelvic brim ,on top

Hey has anyone got any advice for pelvic adhesions. I don’t want anymore surgery as the surgery for the removal of Endometriosis has made me worse by causing adhesions at the sight where they removed it. Just feel lost. The pain is so intense especially near my cycle.

I have dealt with a abdominal adhesions and pelvic adhesions binding my organs to my abdominal wall in the past, and I’ve had them cut for some relief, I kind of think it could be adhesions again that are just pulling things where they shouldn’t be.

Back in February I had a laparoscopy which showed severe endo with adhesions on pouch of Douglas, both pelvic side walls and ovaries. Severe adhesions of the rectum and pelvic colon. My surgeon advised to take Zoladex until my next surgery which would need to be done at a Specialist Center.
