Chemo vs Xofigo
I am seven years from diagnosis (PSA 1,666). Still have my prostate. Firmagon brought PSA to undetectable in five months. After continuous Eligard, Xtandi, and Clinical Trial, back up to 800 PSA. My decision now is this: Chemo or XOFIGO (RA 223). Anyone out there that can help me with their experiences

RECOVERY FROM PULSED FIELD CATHETER ABLATION – ANYONE HAD ONE YET?
Some of you may have seen my recent update post relating to my decision to have a catheter ablation to try and sort out my early persistent AF (which was tolerable in terms of symptoms at the time). The decision was swayed for an active/invasive intervention when I was offered a relatively new procedure

Thyroid Blood Test Results
Hi all, I finally managed to get a copy of my thyroid blood test results but there is so little information on there that I’m unsure of what I should do next. I’ve posted before but my situation is that I had a partial thyroidectomy back in July 2022 and I’ve been getting symptoms such as tiredness

More decisions!!
Well I saw Dr Pepper yesterday and all much as expected. I've moved to persistent AF and a cardioversion would be pointless. I keep self converting the back to AF. Sob. So options are... Live with it as long as my rate comes down to the 80s, so will be trying Digoxin after my holiday in Norfolk.

Oregovomab Clinical Trial
Hello, I was recently approved to participate in the Phase III trial. I am wondering if anyone has participated in the Phase II trial and what their experience has been. Also, do you think participation may exclude me from future treatments? https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04498117?term=oregovomab

‘Liquid Radiation’ promises new cancer treatment- DrMichael Hofman, Lead-212 and Lu-177 sounds very promising !
(Sorry for the cut and paste) Jill Margot Mar 31, 2023 – It’s described as “liquid radiation” and it promises to be a new pillar in the treatment of cancer. And among the groups around the world working on this technology, Australia is a leader. Professor Michael Hofman, a nuclear physician-scientist

Can a med be cause this reaction
Hello all, I was diagnosed with Afib in July 2020. I had a cardioversion and returned to sinus rhythm. I was put on Eliquis and Diltiazem in Dec 2020. Since that time if I get hot my skin becomes very prickly like someone is snapping elastics all over my body. I then seek out a cool place quickly

My husband is beginning the ARACOG clinical trial. He is assigned to Darolutamide. This is through UCSF with Dr. Aggarwal. Anyone else in or been in this trial?

Update on Failing Calquence-Pirtobrutinib Next
I spoke with my specialist from Upenn today and she wants to switch me to pirtobrutinib once it receives FDA approval for CLL in a few weeks. My questions are for those in clinical trials for pirtobrutinib. Any feedback is much appreciated as this will be my 5th treatment regimen and I’m a little

Stuck between deciding on IMRT CONDENSED and SBRT with 4 months ORGOVXY- Have Jan 12th date to make decision for UCLA (meet with Dr. Kishan)
I will give you the facts as I know them and who recommends each therapy:
1. I live near UCLA so convenience is not a factor ,however 20 IMRT treatments is more than 5 SBRT Treatments.
2.

Ablation on Monday!
I recd a telephone call from Cardiology offering me an Ablation for Monday 26 Sept 2022. My husband advised me to take it, so I accepted the offer. I did query why I had been offered this so quickly as only diagnosed with Atrial Flutter in June 2022. Apparently it is due to the fact I am unable to

Excessive urination
Does anyone here suffer with excessive urination when having an afib episode,? I am very symptomatic and although I take sotalol and apixaban I still get some afib episodes (usuly 1 every 4 months). When this happens I am urinating every 10 mins or so and then when I come out of afib I can sleep most
