paroxysmal atrial fibrillation
I have been diagnosed with AF and slowly getting my head around it all. I’m on blood thinner rivaoban and sotalol and rampril. I’ve just head a letter from cardiologist from our 3 monthly catch-up and noticed on diagnosis he has also put on preserved LV function, any of you lovely people know what that

Anxiety medication
As I have
paroxysmal
atrial
fibrillation
I don’t want to make the situation worse. Does anyone take this or any other medication for anxiety without it appearing to bring on further episodes of AF?

paroxysmal atrial fibrillation converted back to sinus rhythm
Hi, I had a really awful Afib attack that resulted in a fast heart beat the other night. The morning after I took my medication and about an hour later my heart reverted back to sinus rhythm but for a few seconds I nearly passed out and remained very dizzy for the rest of the morning. It almost felt

Exercise
I have

and one of my main triggers is exercise. However, exercise is also recommended lose weight, get healthy and reduce episodes. How can I increase exercise if it's a trigger?

Ablation
I have a long history of
paroxysmal
atrial
fibrillation
and have been on blood thinner medication for 10 years treating my paroxysmal episodes with PIP . However last march I went into highly symptomatic persistent AF which did not reverse before undergoing a successful cardioversion in August.

Reversion Pauses
I have
Paroxysmal
Atrial
Fibrillation
and have reversion pauses, waiting for a Pacemaker. Has anyone out there suffered with the same problem and had a Pacemaker inserted and did it stop them happening and stop their heart rate going up.

Worried about AF
Hi I have
paroxysmal
atrial
fibrillation
. I'm only 39 but the doctors only seem to want to give me pills and not do anything like ablation. I'm really worried tbh. I had an acute subdural haematoma a few years bk and now this lol. Really struggling

paroxysmal atrial fibrillation
I have posted re my paroxysmal AF with episodes very fast heart rate requiring treatment in hospital, but am now concerned about ever getting the Ablation I am waiting for. Have just found a letter August, which says “we’ll consider ablation if another very fast heart rate episode occurs”. Well so

Diagnosis timeline help
However, I have now found out that after his heart monitor on 9th August that year, the hospital had diagnosed
paroxysmal
atrial
fibrillation
and atrial tachycardia. The letter from our hospital was dated 21st October and my husband died in his sleep 5 days later not knowing about this.

Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation and Pancreatic
Hi all, I am new to this forum and just wanted to see if anyone has suffered the same symptoms as myself. I was rushed into hospital with infection markers of over 400, but showed no other symptoms with the exception of the 10 days of sickness. After weeks of investigations and blood test. Found I

Chronic Fatigue and PAF
I have been diagnosed with
Paroxysmal
Atrial
Fibrillation
and suffer from chronic fatigue. I know that fatigue is a symptom of PAF but I don't know if the fatigue is only meant to be present during bouts of Afib. I suffer from chronic and debilitating fatigue all the time.

Decision time and a reminder
I’ve posted on this before, but a final request for info: does anyone have any reliable information on the potential effects of the Pfizer (or other mRNA vaccine) on
paroxysmal
atrial
fibrillation
(links to papers, articles etc. or any definitive statements from cardiologists.)?

do I need ablation for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation?
Hi, I have had one, or maybe two episodes of afib with rvr following vomiting, 10 years apart. The last episode lasted for two days until it was reset with beta blockers. I am otherwise a fit, healthy active 56 year old. The EP suggested I have an ablation, what are your thoughts? Also, can anyone

Bisoprolol withdrawal
Hello, I was wondering if anyone with
paroxysmal
atrial
fibrillation
has had any problems with bisoprolol withdrawal? Bisoprolol made me feel terrible with a low resting heart rate so my cardiologist told me I could stop taking it daily right away and use as a pill in the pocket.
