Fungus 'may cause symptoms of Parkinson's disease'
2013 New research has suggested that a compound often exuded by fungus could be linked to symptoms of Parkinson's disease. The investigators say Parkinson's has previously been linked to exposure of human-made toxins, but their findings show that biological compounds also have the potential to set

levodopa and dopamine agonists’ treatment in Parkinson’s disease (PD) patients can become ineffective to control involuntary movements. Laboratory studies on PD animal models suggest that physical training may help to alleviate these symptoms offering an alternative form of therapy. http://parkinsonsnewstoday.com

Colomycin Side Effects
Hello, I've been ebbing colomycin for a couple of weeks now and overtime I have it I feel really really nauseous, to the point of retching occasionally. Has anyone else suffered from this? I've researched the side effects but this doesn't seem to be listed but it really makes me suffer and not want

best oil for Hashimoto patients?
So, this question is pretty straightforward: I was recommended hemp oil by a Hertoghe doctor in Belgium. Others seem to prefer virgin olive oil. I admit to finding it rather confusing, as there are so many theories and opinions out there...so I'd really appreciate some input on this. I would not mind

Remember me
remember me I once stood proud Not stooped and bent and lost in crowd But tall and free of twisted limbs As fast as dust blown in the wind As happy as the gambolling lambs As mad as hares in March abound Remember me as thus you will And keep the memories safe until The day that we are all apart Then

Amphetamines in Chocolate and Aderall may cause Parkinson's, but reduce symptoms
Amphetamines like Aderall are implicated in causing Parkinson's as well as reducing symptoms. The way it might cause PD is by "wearing out" the dopamine system, but it also has been shown to act like pesticides and actually cause the bad a-syn protein to form. In looking at this, I came across two

Hello All
Been a while! My son got moved two weeks ago so I'm on my own in my apartment. So happy to see him settled somewhere and he has a couple of good job possibilities, whew! Found an alternate pain control substance, which is related to marijuana but is legal here because it has no psychotropic effect.

How I got Parkinson's
I grew up in Los Angeles and still recall the purplish hues hanging over the sunsets in the evenings. I lived just to the South of the 134 and know I've breathed pollution in East LA since I was two. Living by freeways, through Southern CA fires, (or under a flight path in San Diego) couldn't have

Online book on Parkinson's is free and lots of fun
Want to read a book on Parkinson's that is not only enlightening and chock full of interesting information, but is almost too much fun to put down? I found that "The Strange Case of Dr. Parkinson" by the Spanish neurologist Rafael Gonzalez Maldonado, M.D. fits that description. First published in
