Could a prostate drug slow or stop Parkinson’s?
Further evidence emerges to suggest that terazosin — a drug currently used to treat enlarged prostate — may have the potential to slow or stop Parkinson’s. We take a look at the story so far and the next steps. https://medium.com/parkinsons-uk/could-a-prostate-drug-slow-or-stop-parkinsons-86ee174f5f45

Testosterone deficiency in a Parkinson’s disease
Testosterone deficiency is a common, treatable, and largely unrecognised form of co-morbidity in Parkinson’s disease, and as demonstrated by this study is common in a movement disorders clinic setting. It may go undiagnosed when the symptoms are attributed to the non-motor manifestations of Parkinson

Neuro Protection
Neuro protection? My husband and I are working on creating a list of all that we can research that can potentially help with neuro protection. We are absolutely clear that there is no magic solution, nothing resembling a cure but nonetheless a consolidated list of potentially neuro protective possibilities

Could prostate drugs reduce Parkinson's disease risk?
https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/amp/articles/could-prostate-drugs-reduce-parkinsons-disease-risk A new study suggests that repurposing glycolysis-enhancing drugs such as terazosin, which is typically used to treat an enlarged prostate, may reduce the risk of Parkinson’s disease in men.

A new GP
Not new as in young but new to us and new residents of Connecticut. [i]I've been to two neurologists since moving here but the GP has been closed til now. My wife describes her as, "Crunchy granola..." I guess that means very new age. She has a deprivation tank, a salt soak tank, a red light

Top-speed antibody development.
The development of biopharmaceuticals is a long and expensive process. A decade or more can elapse between the discovery of a new protein-based active ingredient and the release of a new drug. One major hurdle on this journey is the passage from the lab to clinical trials. As a rule, it takes between

recently treated for lymes disease massive improvements
My neuro has also changed my diagnosis on my letters to suspected
parkinsonism
with previous positive lymes diagnosis, which is ironic as he didnt think i had lymes and stated PD diagnosis on all letters previous to my private treatment.
