She wrote “ diagnosed 2012. Take simenet, rasagiline and rotigotine. Started vit B1 and magnesium three years ago. Take 2000 mg B1 in three doses (1000 , 500, 500) and 1 x magnesium in the am. Take 1 x the B1 to begin with and then increase slowly. Improvements for me were over 6 months, but balance is wonderful now, constipation better, tremor gone (the docs meds stopped tremor almost but a bit was left) all good. I first checked with my gp and pd specialist and asked them if it would do me any harm. They said no, so I thought I’d give it a chance. Fabulous. Do check with your gp though. By the way I have not decreased the nhs meds but over the past 3 years they have not been increased either. Good luck.
