I took some
paracetamol
today and an Imodium. I've had a particularly busy couple of months and I always seem to be active and never seem to have any time for me. Yesterday I felt good and had a short cycle ride, but feel I'm rushing back home as something urgent needs seeing to.

RFA on thyroid nodule
I was given 1000 mg of
paracetamol
, and (obligatory) a tablet of Dormicum (calming drug). The latter had zero effect on me, but I kept my outer cool through the entire procedure. They also but an infuse (withput the liquid in my arm, just in case something went wrong).

Got pred at last!
That enabled me to drop the 500mg Naproxen and 1000mg
paracetamol
and amitripyline and omeprazole cocktail my UK GP had left me on since the chance of me seeing a Rheumy in UK before Christmas was remote. I found this tiny dose of pred worked better than the cocktail.

Waking from sleep with upper abdominal pain for hours at a time
Paracetamol
will allow me to get back to sleep but it wears off fairly quickly and I wake up again. The gaviscon double action can’t help me. This happens after exercise and only since I had to take PPIs for 3 weeks to get rid of a bad cough.

Update from Fridays post can just a virus make me feel so unwell , were my symptoms put down to anxiety 🤔
Just advised to take
paracetamol
, so I’m now home lying down with a thumping headache . No idea if the guy looked at my medical history but I’m wondering if he put all my symptoms down to anxiety after my regular gp thinks that is the cause of any chest pain I feel .

Hay fever medicines
I continue to have badly blocked ears and a runny nose for several weeks. I’ve only managed to see paramedics rather than a GP about it. I haven’t used any nasal sprays (other than saline) but would like to try anti-allergy medication such as antihistamine. Yet I’ve read that “A few common stimulating

Naltrexone treatment for fibro pain?
My old pain doctor recently retired and I have seen a new one. Unfortunately, she won't continue my low dose hydrocodone/acetaminophen. She wanted to put me on Nalrexone which is for treatment of opioid addiction. It is also found to treat other things including fibromyalgia. What the doc failed to mention

Im taking Ibuprofen and

and got the HV coming in a few days, but in the meantime has anyone else ever experienced this? And do you know what’s causing it? And will it resolve?

New here and worried
Potted history. Regular wine drinker. Bottle a night, but recently cut down to 0 since 4 weeks. Have had history of RUQ pain, but it came and went. Has been constant for a month now. Sleep trouble from new "pain"
For the last 3 weeks or so, a few days a week, when I get in bed the left side of my body from my waist down is weird. Something's wrong that's hard to explain. It's right on the outside edge of my hip, leg, and foot. I've been putting heat on my leg during the night, but this lasts hours and ruins my

I’ve upped the Pred, reduced back down but the pains are back today!
Paracetamol
hasn’t really helped. I don’t know where to go from here.? Do people get withdrawal symptoms when dropping back down again? Do I stay on 9.5 mg and see if it improves? If it doesn’t improve what do I do? Could it be something else which is masked by the higher Pred?

Fibro - flashes of nerve pain throughout the body or not?
I've got
paracetamol
, co-codamol and ibuprofen which I'm managing with, but I did feel irritated by his comment. I'd be interested to know if others have symptoms of fibromyalgia which are similar to mine.

GP knew less than I did about RLS :’-(
I’m going to buy iron supplements anyway and
paracetamol
and codeine tablets as it’s all getting too much. She’s referring me to a neurologist but that’ll take months. I feel so disappointed. She apologised for not knowing much about it. I don’t know where to turn.

Getting Off of Painkillers
I started seeing a pain management doctor about 4 years ago for severe lower back pain. One of the first things she did was put me on 5 mg Hydrocodone four times a day and gave me a steroid injection. Over the years, I have had several radio frequency ablations and a handful of steroid injections. The
