Burning groin stinging pain post c-section

I’m now 11 days post c section and particularly id say the last 4 or so days I’ve had a sort of intense burning pain and almost stinging too on my right groin area wrapping round to my inner thigh, it’s very painful and even when clothes brush against it , it hurts but also feels a bit numb, it’s hard to explain.

Im taking Ibuprofen and Paracetamol and got the HV coming in a few days, but in the meantime has anyone else ever experienced this? And do you know what’s causing it? And will it resolve?

Im worried it might be like this forever and it’s nerve damage, this is my second c-section and I never had this with my first.

This sounds like nerve pain. It could be where the nerves that have been damaged and so were numb are now healing. I would maybe speak to doctor? I found the HV to be less about medical stuff and more about assessing my ability to care for my baby (sort of like a risk assessment) - which I passed in case anyone was worried about her! x
