Insurance cover for Belatacept anti rejection infusion therapy. How do I get insurance for this drug therapy? My Medicare ends in 3 months?
Has anyone else had experience in getting Belatacept covered (or not covered) under their ACA insurance provider or other insurance provider? If so, how did you go about it? What was the process? How easy was it to get them to decide to cover it or not? I am going on three years after a successful kidney

On Monday I got a text, followed by a letter, informing me that I have been identified as someone at risk of severe illness and thereby extremely vulnerable if I were to catch coronavirus. Instructions are not to leave home, even for food and meds, and stay away from others indoors. There is a list of

I am Allison. I live in Texas. I unfortunately became very sick in late 2014, bit didn't go to the Dr for a few months. I was hospitalized and diagnosed with stage 4 cirrhosis. Recieved a liver transplant Thanksgiving day 2016. Was doing well until at a regular 3 month lab ALP jumped from 150 to 450

The Good Doctor - NOT good advice!
I just watched the March 2nd episode of the TV show The Good Doctor. There was a potential kidney transplant talked about and a potential live donor. He was only 16, but what the "doctors" told him about being a donor was SO over the top, I don't think ANYONE would want to be a live donor! It was

Has anyone had parathyroid surgery post kidney transplant?
I have hypercalcemia resulting from hyperparathyroidism and was wondering if anyone has had parathyroid surgery. I have been considering surgery but would first love to know others experiences.

End-Stage doesn’t mean it’s the end.
They sometimes refer to Stage lV as End-stage emphysema but don’t think it means you will die soon. I’ve been stage IV (FEV1 <30%) for 10 years now, following pulmonologist’s strict orders...stop smoking, exercise, and take meds. Yes, I go on waiting list in September for a lung transplant (single
