LCHF Diet for Diabetics- Banning of some Bloggers
I think the proponents of LCHF Diet are pushing too far. You don't have to reply to every post, not you have to abuse pharma companies and doctors who prescribe medicines and insulin. Everyone here is an educated adult and can make choice for himself. Why to rub it in? Let it be. Those who are comfortable

I pinched this article off Facebook. As a treatment for Emphysema, I think it has a place amongst the others. I wonder if it has relevance for those with Collateral Ventilation, where other treatments are not a good option because of air leakage between the lobes in the lung through damaged tissue.

My experience with low carbo, high fat diet
A fortnight or so ago I interacted in this forum with Mr Anup for my numb feet. After interaction with him, I bought meter and daily checked my bs levels. They were in the range of 170 to 190 mg pp. By his advice to switching to low carbo, high fat diet, I found my bs levels is in the range of 120

Never any good news from me
I've discussed this with the Macmillan nurse and the
palliative
care
doctor, but they don't seem to want to believe me when I tell them that the night pill cocktail is not working and that morphine does not agree with me. I'm going to have to tell them that I've started feeling suicidal.

End stages? not sure, any advice
palliative
care
are involved and tell me to walk away but that is very hard when you are the only persons way to communicate and you see the person you love trapped. Mum has become very stubborn and fixated on things, she won't let anything go, which is very difficult.

My sister Helen1
Her scan in nov showed extensive liver mets and treatment was stopped and she was referred to the
palliative
care
team.. She had no pain and she had a sense of peace in her and for someone who had fought it all the way , no fear of dying. We are all devestated.

The other question I have is if there are things they can do to help with his symptoms as in
palliative
care
then surely he could have them as well and what are they?
