Diabetics should beware of infections
I thank Medfree for enquiring about my BS levels and medicines. It was about 6 months ago when I joined this Forum that I heard about LCHF diet strongly advocated by Mr. Anup Singh. I tried it and found it effective in maintaining normal BS levels. I was able to reduce my daily insulin from 15 units

My mum has end stage COPD and is receiving palliative care in hospital.Does anyone else have experience/advice on this?
My mum collapsed 7 weeks ago, was resuscitated and has been in hospital ever since. They put her on a syringe driver and we've been told on several occasions to say our goodbyes. However, since then she has fought off a chest infection, a urine infection and some days is sitting up laughing and chatting

A difficult day
She is now receiving
palliative
care
at home, she has made the decision that she no longer wants to go into hospital. I have had to move in to care for her now ( fortunately my daughter is 23 and still lives at my home ).

Happy to Announce
I am happy to announce my BS normalization, of course, with medicines. This was possible largely by LCHF Diet, some exercise. The last mile was achieved by homeopathic med, which was suggested by Peace 7. In the process, I was off Statin drug, which initially made my lipid chart haywire. But after

AN UPDATE ON MY WIFE
I think the last time i said my wife was going to be 'hospice at home'
palliative
care
. Well that has changed and she has now been in the hospice 2 weeks. Staff are lovely and apart from the reason she is in there - you couldnt think of a nicer place to stay.

Update On My Dad
It has been confirmed that the Cancer has returned and this time he isn't having any treatment (and I respect that) He's getting a lot of help now from his Macmillan nurse and his

nurse. He's got a hospital bed at home now and knows he hasn't got all the time in the world left.
