Recently diagnosed with atypical trigeminal neuralgia,

Check your Thyroid
For about a year I’ve been struggling. Fatigue getting worse, frozen shoulder, dry mouth and eyes, aching, brain fog, palpitations. It really got worse after last years autumn Covid booster when I thought I was having a heart attack. Heart all checked out fine. So I talked to my consultant at my clinic

And ,now another type of pain........
The
pain
and stiffnes was getting worse so i bumped my pred up to 10mg daily for 4 days....... Not much difference, thats strange , if it was PMR, the
pain
level should have at least dropped a bit.

My PMR Journey so far
Within a couple of days I started to experience some relief from the
pain
and stiffness. Feeling much more optimistic about things now. I am now seeing a Rheumatologist privately due to at least a six month wait on the NHS.

pain on one side and head pain on the other side, is it a flare?
I’m 80 and in the last few months fatigue and gait,
pain
in muscles and joints has worsened, trying to sort it with several doctors, but the head and neck
pain
is worrying and I’m wondering if I should increase pred. Thanks for your thoughts.

They drop my BP far too low but I can't cope with any worse constipation as a large part of my
pain
is caused by bowel adhesions.

Struggling with
pain
in knee leg and feet. How did you manage
pain
and how long before any relief. I guess I expected to be
pain
free more quickly. Would love to hear from anyone who took months to heal that this can happen and I will get there in the end.

Gallbladder pain during pregnancy?
Hi All, I currently 18 weeks pregnant and last night I had a very strong paid under my rib cage on the right hand side. went to the emergency midwife lead unit and the doctor said it’s nothing to do with pregnancy but it’s likely to be a gallbladder problem. I’ve never ever had that before so perplexed
