Exercise with pacemaker
I was implanted with a
pacemaker
last May for trifacicular block (slow/stopping rhythm) pretty much a-symptomatic ....I also have an artirial flutter which does cause discomfort when I have an episode. I am trying to keep fit, lose weight and generally keep mobile.

Side effects of drugs for Heart Failure
In 2002 at the age of 65 I had an operation to replace my Mitral & Aortic valves with mechanical ones; they also fitted me with a
Pacemaker
. Since then I have been on Anti-coagulants; which involves the regular blood tests to balance the the INR.

HF or not HF - That is the question!
She has a
pacemaker
and we see a EP every 6 months to check on her status and the status of the battery life in the PM. For a few years now, he has “intimated” that my mother has HF and valve problems. She also has tachycardia and edema in her lower legs, and breathlessness.

AF progression, Pacemaker & Heart Failure
Indeed just a few days ago I had an MRI for a totally different reason not related to my AF which required my
Pacemaker
(PM) to be turned off during the MRI process and back on again afterwards.

I’ve Run 5K
So on my first consolidation run, still using Jo Whiley as my
pacemaker
, I ran 3.27 miles! Had to carry on after Jo said I was done as knew I was short so ran for a few minutes until I was confident I had got my 5K and ran that distance in just over 34 mins!

Conversion to NSR
Soon after being diagnosed with Afib I was fitted with a
Pacemaker
due to Syncope. After two failed ablations I finally had what we all thought was a successful RF ablation on 1st August last year.

Help please!!
I'm waiting to go in for a
pacemaker
fitting asap at Papworth with my consultant, but I can never get him to talk too as I thought he would be ideal to answer my queries. Sorry for the long post, I'm just worrying and tbh really scared that I'm going through this at 41.

Itchy rash
My husband was diagnosed with afib during a revision of his
pacemaker

After AV node ablation and pacemaker implant.
I have not posted for sometime as I only had this procedure in December 2018. Although considered a success by my EP it is not a complete success by me. I feel as if I have spent three years going in a circle (this I told him) as the breathlessness is not resolved. He is going to cardiovert me with

Chest pain after exercise with pacemaker
Hi, I had a
pacemaker
fitted 18 months ago for SSS tachy/Brady syndrome. I’m finding that after exercising, I experience left sided chest pain, palpitations and episodes of faintness. This can go on for days on and off.
