Mitral valve leakage
Is mitral valve leakage a follow on condition after having WPW, atrial fibrillation and a
pacemaker
fitted for total heart block? Can things get even worse?

PM implanted but scared of AV node ablation
I had a
pacemaker
fitted four weeks ago because of Parosysmal AF and am due to have an AV node ablation in two weeks. I am coping with having the PM, but am terrified of having the AV node ablated.

Tens machine and pacemaker???
I have had a heart attack and seven stents in 3 arteries and a
pacemaker
fitted for bradycardia. I cannot take anticoagulants for the AF because of the brain bleed. Sorry for the length of this. Any advice appreciated.

Thinking of rescuing a dog.
Hi is there any risk to your heart if you have a AVR and
pacemaker
to walk a large well trained dog on a lead. Any advice from anyone who has or is doing this please. This bitch is 10 months old, good with other dogs, cats and young children. She was rescued from Spain and is a Spanish Mastiff.

Medtronic MicraPacemaker
I am having the Medtronic Micra
Pacemaker
implanted to treat bradycardia, 47 to 53 beats per minute with two 5 sec pause episodes while awake and 4 3 sec pauses while asleep. No symptoms at all during episodes, but am dealing with chronic, persistent dizziness.

Plus & Minus, node ablation?
I had a
pacemaker
installed 5 years ago, as my meds were bringing my HR too low at times. It has a battery life of approx 7 years left on it. I am female, age 76 and am still on meds, bisoprolol and flecainide. The actual ablation doesn’t worry me near as much as the MINUSES of this decision.

Resting heart rate 47-54 with constant dizziness
I am struggling with this and wonder if a
pacemaker
would help alleviate this problem, or could it be something else? Had a brain scan and blood work all looks normal, but dizziness persists. Thanks so much.

Pacemaker 😩
GP referring me back to cardiologist and says I may need
pacemaker
fitted sooner than expected. I’m OK (ish!) about this but I really want to be able to continue running. Any advice from anyone in the know please? Thank you 🙏🏻

Electical impulses
Hi everyone I had a
pacemaker
fitted 6 weeks ago closely followed by a SV ablation. Recovery took a little while but no problem with the pm. Yesterday I had 3 or 4 incidences of little shock waves round my heart, a kind of tingly feeling. Has anyone else experienced this sensation?

Pacemaker implant - Week 2
It is two weeks today since the
pacemaker
was fitted in Bristol. Well, I certainly feel a lot better than I did last week. Still extremely tired though, and really feeling that I am still recovering.

Bradycardia with Pauses
My cardiologist is recommending a
pacemaker
, as I've had two 5 sec. pause episodes in the past 30 days. My resting heart rate is typically in the low 50's, but lately it has been as low as 45-47 on a consistent basis. Without treatment will this trend continue.

Pause episodes
I have no symptoms, so I think they are not certain i need a
pacemaker
. Has anyone experienced this and what was the end result?
