Hi, I had a pacemaker fitted 18 months ago for SSS tachy/Brady syndrome.
I’m finding that after exercising, I experience left sided chest pain, palpitations and episodes of faintness. This can go on for days on and off.
I do tend to push myself at the gym, and am very active as I always have been. I was told that there were no limitations in what I may do. On occasion when doing cardio, my fingertips and lips can go quite a blue colour just temporarily, which resolves at rest quite quickly.
Does anyone else experience these symptoms? Advice please, anything to be concerned over?

Hi, I had a pacemaker fitted in November 2017 and I still get a pain in my left chest when I push or pull on something, most noticeable when assembling our archive boxes at work, which involves folding cardboard and slotting bits together. I think it’s because of the location, it’s implanted in the muscle so when that muscle is tense up it is uncomfortable.
If you’re still concerned then ring your pacemaker clinic for a chat, they should be able to help you.
