Nerve damage from surgery

I recently had pocket revision surgery on my Pacemaker due to pocket/ skin erosion ( the third time in 8 yrs). Since the surgery 3 months ago I have experienced quite a lot of pain and discomfort in my right arm, shoulder and neck. My device is placed on right hand side. The device was removed from it's original pocket and placed in a new pocket via insertion through my right side armpit. I have read the pain could be caused by damage to the brachial plexus nerve's during surgery. Has anyone experienced any similar problems.
