Pacemaker fitted in February 2019, taking atorvastatin and doing daily exercise to reduce cholesterol. What else can be done to unblock the blood vessels?

Exercise and eating clean helps, plus cutting sugar. We need to get rid of all inflammation in our bodies as that start the disease process. If you have a google you’ll find lots of low carb ideas etc.

Hello and welcome to the forum! The BHF recommends a Mediterranean diet:

This is the diet I follow. I also take 1000mg SR Vitamin C to reduce irritation often a precursor to plaque formation. Vitamin C was given to old time sailors as lime juice to prevent scurvy a disease of the blood vessels.

You may find this article of interest:

Rose's lime juice production was moved out of London to St Alban's during the blitz. As a child I lived about 3 - 4 miles from the factory so heard about the background. In nearby Welwyn Garden City the Shredded Wheat factory stood by the railway line for decades. I find it a pity these places are now history.

I was brought up in Plymouth. We have a saying "what this Blitz didn`t destroy the planners did!! Not a lot left of the old city now.
