Returning to work after ohs
I had OHS in December 2020, replacing my aorta, aortic valve and a
pacemaker
fitted. Whilst my recovery is going well, I'm still getting pains from the muscles, nerves etc repairing which can be quite severe at times.

Oxygen levels low.
I am waiting to see if a
pacemaker
is going to be arranged. I am using oxygen but not prescribed. I bought it from Amazon during the last 12 months because I was desperate! But my readings confuse me. My heart rate can be at times normal but my oxygen level below 90.

2nd degree heart block type 2 - high sensitive heart rate
Ventricular standstill on ECG for upto 4 seconds so
Pacemaker
fitted. I have a natural HR and It only monitors and works 1% of the time. At the time of diagnosis I was unfortunately going though an episode of extremely high anxiety completely unrelated to heart diagnosis.

Discomfort on my left side
Does anyone else get this small price to pay, I've had a weakness down my left side since the
pacemaker
was fitted and know it's going to get worse as I age I know it due to the way it's going.

Pacemaker Lead Extraction
I have a CRT-D device and have recently been informed that the lead going to my right atrium has fractured and needs extracted and replaced. Has anyone else had a lead extracted? Were there any complications and how long did recovery take?

Pacemaker to parkrun
I’m not a fast runner but enjoy a jog around 5k each Saturday & sometimes volunteer as the Tail Walker to get the exercise. Are there many other park runners with pacemakers? I had mine fitted just over 6 weeks ago and I’m not sure what I can do

HOW EFFECTIVE ARE PACEMAKERS FOR AF.
He had a
Pacemaker
fitted, "one of the most modern" he stated. No further problems reported. If a
pacemaker
helps with AFib it is simple to fit. Comments welcome. Hugo40

Anyone had pacemaker fitted privately in U.K.?
So I've had a recent ultrasound and the technician did think I would be a
pacemaker
candidate. But after 4 weeks I've not had any written info but more appointments by phone. In the meantime I'm have bad episodes with heart rate dropping to 25. Called paramedics!
