Can’t believe it!
We’ll, as if 1 failed
pacemaker
insertion, 2 ablations , a small stroke and 3 other immediate family members hospitalised for various reasons, and then a horrid covid infection, isn’t enough for 1 year! I was recovering from covid after 10 long horrible days.

Today I was rushing a bit more to get my daughter to school on time , it’s up a steep hill which is getting more of a struggle to walk up , I’m putting it down to age and heart health , I’m almost 49 and have a
pacemaker
for heart pauses and tachybrady. I also have asthma .

Medication stopped because of high potassium
They are now talking about a
pacemaker
, but loads of tests first. My husband is with my daughter who is 50 but it’s a lot for him, he’s 76 and very good with her.

One month post AV node ablation
My
pacemaker
is currently set to rate response with a range of 80-130. I recently started riding my bike again taking it slow for now until I build my stamina back up. I am feeling much better and except for tiring easily I feel great!

Why won't doctors do anything?
Pacemaker
, other drugs, other tests. Last time I was in A & E, very recently, doctor thought I had heart block but my cardiologist and GP surgery are of a "do nothing" mindset. It's like they are just letting me suffer. I cannot understand this. They would treat a dog better.

HeartyJames update :) Optimism
So will go nicely with my
pacemaker
:) At hospital they measured my BP as 126/70. I cannot recall when I was ever that high as I am usually very low. So with that I had no dizziness and walking through car park , feeling as if I was normal ME again. wow! I was thinking.

heart was not pumping enough oxygen enriched blood to my head, he also indicated my BP was low at 45bpm, ( this is where envy comes in, one member stated that was his normal resting rate ) given all these warnings GP arranged check up with local Hospital, with the possible outcome of having to have a

pain by pacemaker site
I wouldn’t have thought that it’s normal to get pain by my
pacemaker
when I’m just walking on flat ground .
