You have had a difficult time of it. I am glad the pacemaker is working!
Glad to hear all went well with the pacemaker, my husband has a MERLIN fitted which is a pacemaker/defibrillator - it is an amazing piece of equipment, which is monitored by Wycombe hospital in Buckinghamshire. It is monitored 'remotely', which at first scared us, - no human contact necessary - but it really is comforting and does it's job. Be at peace.
Thank you for the information. Not hearing good things about ablations.
Hi nothing to worry about xx
I hope it helps you and you can enjoy your life.
Pacemaker's are wonderful things and will give you protection - do you have an ordinary pacer or a de- fibrillator - my husband has a MERLIN fitted, and it is monitored 24/7 by the hospital, he is confident all is well. Try not to focus too much on its presence, this will be part of you now, it is far better to learn to accept it and live with it. Modern science and technology is together a wonderful solution. Be positive and relax. x
I am pleased to hear that, try now to stay positive. I was offered ablation for my Atrial Fibrillation, when I went for it, I was examined and because I only have 'episodes' and it was not a permanent condition it was decided it would not work. If you get any stress/anxiety problems, don't hide it away, deal with it. If you need help with that please let me know. xx
