My counselor has talked to me about medication. How do I know when to start?
I'm currently writing this post because I feel like I need an answer before my next counseling appointment on Thursday. Currently I'm scared to go to work today, I'm running off 2.5 hours of sleep because I've been up all night crying and I can't stop. I've called out of work recently for this behavior

Antibodies rising but hormone levels OK - should I be worried?
Hi, firstly thanks to everyone posting here who've helped me understand hypothyroidism better, and sorry this will be long winded! I've been having Medichecks reports as I've been feeling very ill recently and my energy and cognitive function have been awful, a yoyo for a year or more. I've learnt I

Now that I am finally recovering from the flu I am going to post what the daily regimen of supplements I am taking. Prior to listing the vitamins, minerals, amino acids....I am taking, I need to relate a little history. I have a degree in sculpture and was exposed to many chemicals including toluene

Amino Acid Protocol and Nausea
Happy New Year, I am writing to see if anyone has advice regarding my mom's nausea on the amino acid protocol. She had been doing well on the Mucuna pruriens at lower doses, no nausea in particular. Her movements seem to have improved, and she's been hiking and walking around a zoo, etc. this holiday

Supplements: Tyrosine & 5-HTP?
Does anyone have experience with any of these supplements? Possibly, someone using Mucuna?

Interaction between supplements and selegiline
I'm on selegiline. Noticed worsening of symptoms when started taking 5-HTP. When checked from WebMD , it was confirmed that it is a result of interaction between the two. Wondering if there are supplements also that interact with PD medications. I guess that there may be some excel sheet or table available

Does 5-HTP conflict with serotonin reuptake inhibitor anti-depressants like Zoloft, Cybalta, etc?

What meds work?
I’m struggling with anxiety on a daily basis. What bothers me most is my stomach. I guess it’s my “nerves”. Anyway, what medications have helped anyone? I’m trying Wellbutrin but not sure if it’s helping- I’m on a pediatric dose! Even though I’m in my 40’s. I’m trying to not overwhelm my body with

5-HTP
Who is finding 5-HTP useful? For what? At what dosage? I've read that it boosts serotonin, helping anxiety, depressIon and tremors, but that smaller doses work better than larger ones.
