Having an IUS fitted with vaginismus, how to check for threads? and other concerns
Hello, According to two ultrasounds and one MRI scan, I've got both endometriosis and adenomyosis. They've tried different combined pills, the mini pill, and norethisterone, but none of them helped much or for long. The gynae has now suggested to fit an IUS. I don't like the idea, but I'm in so much

Anyone had any luck getting diagnosis/treatment for Craniocervical instability
I was referred for an upright MRI by my rheumatologist last June but my Gp flat out refuses to make an individual funding request for me to have it and apparent CT scan came back normal. I can literally put my finger in the gaps between my vertebrae and feel it close/open when lifting my head when they

Happy New year everyone. My husband's mobility is now extremely bad, taking diazepam for pain. He is sleeping mostly and not eating. I have spoken to our gp this morning about my concerns of him taking this as he continues to drink over 20 bottles of strong beer daily. He has a physio appointment next

Hi all, This is quite an essay but I would be super appreciative if anyone can help/shed some light on what I could possibly be asking my doctors to do for me on this matter as I’m very scared of day to day life right now, and I feel like I’m not really being helped as much as I could be. I’ve had

Propranalol or Bisoprolol
I had Afib for the first time at the beginning of December …and was put on Apixaban. I will be having an echocardiogram scan in due course. In A&E the doctor told me to continue with my BP meds of Indapamide 2.5mg and Propranolol. I had an assessment two days later and another ECG …by then

Merry Christmas!
Well, I had my mask making and CT scan last Monday, MRI the previous week (no results yet), and I have my Lorazepam in hand ready to start 5 weeks of radiotherapy on 9th Jan, so I'm now ready to enjoy Christmas and the New Year's Eve party. May I wish all my fellow ANers a very Merry Christmas and

Hello I have been reading some old posts about this medication and ckd. Is it really dangerous to take. My gfr is 21 and I need to keep it stable. I suffer with insomnia and it helps me sleep at 100mg per dose. I also take quietepine 50mg and diazepam 8mg per dose Added into that mix is mirtazepine

Diazepam and Modafinil
hi I’ve had various battles with Lyrica, Mirtazapine, Codiene. I’ve stopped all them over the years my main problem was diazepam I’ve tapered from 150mg a day down to my regular 20mg . I function well . I’ve stopped completely before and fell good by this stage. I often feel drowsey and was thinking

modafinil & diazepam combination
hi in the last year I’ve stopped the dreaded Pregalabin, Mirtazapine and reduced Diazepam from lots down to 20mg a day. Quite functional. The diazepam is quite effective but leaves me fuzzy headed, it never used to. I’ve been tempted to take Modafinal to perk me up on busy days. I know it’s not ideal

Ectopics in the night
I wake early every morning and this time I had a couple of ectopics which sent me into a panic, which increased the ectopics. The usual fear of dying comes over me. I tried to calm down with camomile tea, slow breathing and finally diazepam, but it took 2 and a half hours before I felt more settled

Study: Aspartame & Anxiety which lasts 2 generations (in mice)
I used to drink a lot of diet soft drinks, but not much recently mainly to avoid the caffeine. But after reading this study, I'm never going back. (Of course, it's mice, not humans, but the soda isn't something that I have to have). It's about the same dose as 32oz of soda for a person. Sometimes
