I know there are many knowledgable people on this site so I'm hoping somebody can help. I have stage 4 emphysema. Cutting a long story short grandson came over with bad cough and 4 days later I develop a cough and the next day I was so sob I could hardly talk. Went to local GP who said chest infection

Coughing Symptoms
Hi, A few years ago I complained to my primary care physician about chronic coughing. Sometimes the coughing would occur when cold air hits my chest. After my lungs were tested, I was diagnosed as possibly having asthma and was prescribed Flovent HFA, of which I take twice a day. Flovent has mostly eliminated

Extreme Tinnitus (ear infection?) - Help!
I'm now trying the
Otovent
balloon as I can definitely feel something moving in both ears, steam inhalation etc. I am also terrified that this may be caused by something more serious like a brain tumour!

Severe asthma and lots of attacks (? Allergy related), any advice during wait to see consultant?
My meds were changed in October last year (simbicort to fostair) as I was taking ventolin every day, and my chest really didn't like fostair. I had a really fast, severe attack (pretty much ok to totally unable to breathe in about 15 minutes) in December, with similar symptoms in Feb and March - akin

Runny nose, rhinorrhea, Atrovent
I developed a cough from nasal drip that wouldn't go away. No sore throat. The cough would really act up around mealtime. My movement disorder specialist prescribed me Atrovent nasal spray. After a week my cough and runny nose has lessened. It's a relief. I was surprised to not find any similar posts

Nebuliser
Hi I have mixed airways disease, but also severely restricted lung function due to curvature of spine. I'm on atrovent, flixotide and venolin. Use via a spacer. It has been suggested by Brompton that it may help to get my inhalers (not Flixotide) into my lungs more efficiently if I use a nebulisor.

Hi, I've had asthma since I was 2 years old, probably due to my parents' smoking. By the age of ten I seemed to have outgrown it. I have, however, had breathing difficulties of one sort or another most of my life. In the last few years, those difficulties have become more acute. I really need an

Problems with Flovent
My doctor prescribed Flovent for me last spring. The first inhaler worked the way it was supposed to. I started having trouble with the second one. It would work for a while and then it wouldn't. My pharmacist said to clean it by removing the cannister and rinsing the applicator in warm water. That

ADHD and Asthma Medication

Flovent questions
Hi guys I'm new here. I have a few questions. Do any of you take Flovent and experience heart palpitations from it? How long do they last? What do your docs say abt it? I experience them every single time I take it and immediately.. docs say they've never heard of such and it's not a problem, just
