Runny nose, rhinorrhea, Atrovent

I developed a cough from nasal drip that wouldn't go away. No sore throat. The cough would really act up around mealtime. My movement disorder specialist prescribed me Atrovent nasal spray. After a week my cough and runny nose has lessened. It's a relief. I was surprised to not find any similar posts here about runny noses.

How long have you been using Atrovent? Do you take it twice a day?

My nose has been running for the last 10+ years. ENT and allergist found no cause. Nonallergic Rhinitis was the final diagnosis (I think a shot in the dark). I finally started using my dad's handkerchiefs as Kleenex was getting expensive! It's a irritating thing but doesn't cause any other health issues for me. I did read on a site (can't remember which one) that a runny nose was an early symptom of PD.

I had the same thing. The spray was great.
