Newbie, tinnitus or not?
Hi Newbie here, I think I have tinnitus but have not been to the GP as I feel since I’ve hit 50 I seem to have one thing after another so don’t want to bother them again. I have this high pitched sound in I think just the left side/ear. I can only describe it as Eeeeeee. I was told by the nurse

Angular Cheilitis?
Just wondering if anyone suffers from Angular Cheilitis with their RA keep getting it and mentioning to the GP but he just ignored it. I've had my B12 checked and it was ok. I've read sulfasalazine can cause it. I'm also on Benepali jab once a week. Ive also read it could be folate levels but I think

QUICK TAPER; CRP RISING STEADILY; FLARING
As suspected, the very quick taper rheumy thought up (2.5 mg per week til I get to 10, then reducing 1 mg per month), has caused a flare and I'm in pre-PMR pain - almost). Currently at 12 mg but should be down to 9 by now, if I was to go with her guidelines. GP refuses to let me up the pred saying "it's

pulsatile tinnitus
hi I’ve had pulsatile tinnitus for almost 2 years. It came on all of a sudden not long after I’d had covid and had been a bit unwell with migraine for a week or so. A nurse said I had an ear infection but antibiotics made no difference. I was quickly sent for an MRA which was clear. I also had an ENT

tinnitus on rapid head rotation
Does anyone else experience a sound/vibration when shaking their head quickly from side to side? What I hear is a vibration of frequency about E flat (about 610Hz)? I have recently had an attempt at micro suction to remove ear wax and this has only started since then and I am wondering whether there

Improved?
Had investigations for right ear polyp that had been present for over 20 years but making routine ear micro suctioning difficult (long standing over production of ear wax). Had hearing test but waited for results (October 2023). Went to concert 3rd Nov and mistakenly did not wear ear plugs. Very loud

Buzzing… how do you get used to it? Or rather ignore it!
Hi I’ve had tinnitus for about 5 years. It started with the hissing sound. After trying sound therapy treatment, I became aware of a tune in one ear. It gradually faded and I was told I had wax in that ear. I think wax helped block my sound as I had it removed and 8 months on it is just starting to
