I had a compression fracture of my T12 vertebrae at the end of August and do not feel as if it is getting better. Anyone had similar probs?
I'm taking
Oramorph
for the pain but it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I'm trying to balance resting and gentle walking and have been doing exactly as the physio advised. Anyone able to offer advice?

Any help with finding a lupus specialist in South Wales Please (I'm in Bridgend)
I was discharged after 9 days as an inpatient to have a fielding eye test as an outpatient and be seen further as an outpatient even though I was in no less pain (without the
oramorph
) than when I was admitted.

Just had a second opinion from a new rheumatologist which had not worked well.
He also said that if I take 40 MST twice a day plus
Oramorph
I should not feel any pain from anywhere. I said if I take those tablets it reduces the pain to copyable level without them I can't move and I am in tears all the time du to the pain.

Does anyone else find that NO medications work?
However, I would have expected buprenorphine or
Oramorph
to work - which they don't. I also have little relief from most antidepressants - doing better on the older tricyclic medications.

I have the doctors on Monday and wanted to know if anyone has been successful in getting Morphine or
oramorph

Hospital Farce
After two hours they gave me some
oramorph
. This did absolutely nothing to ease the pain, cannot describe how bad it was. After another two hours, doc examined me and diagnosed kidney stone and immediately gave me IV Morphine, it was wonderful!!!!, pain eased within two minutes.

Why do I have to be weighed ?
I phoned my GP this morning to ask for a repeat prescription for all my meds :- Sertralin, levothyroxine temazepam, orlistat, fentanyl,
oramorph
. Only to be told by a snotty receptionist that I could not have it until I had been weighed.
