CAD at 47 - Shock
Just a bit of background. Was suffering from anxiety attacks and heart palpitations last Sep. Was referred to a cardiologist (privately). Did the usual tests (holt ecg / Echo / CTCA). Whilst the ecg and echo came back with no issues, unfortunately CTCA showed moderate( 50%) stenosis in mid-LAD. Calcium

Ablation Number Four
Further to my post a few days ago where I described my disappointment at slipping back into ‘Possible AF’ just 10 weeks after my third ablation, I have now seen my EP. He analysed the print out of an ECG and feels that I am now experiencing atrial tachycardia rather than af and that it is worth doing

Emotional setback
Hi All,Had HA back in September & had a stent fitted. After struggling with side effects of meds for many months, it seems to have sorted itself out & for the last month, I seem to feel like my old self again. Over the months I've had one or two little niggles/ feelings around my chest. Never lasted

Chest resisting into shoulder pain
For the last month l have been in constant stabbing pain in the left hand side of chest and sternum pain like pressure (someone sat on me!), this then travels up into shoulder, upper back and jaw. I am finding it dibilating. Have had ECG, at the doctor's for one minute duration and he has said that it

Is it a choice? Pacemaker v Implanted defibrillator?
Hi, it's #chinkoflight here with an update. Things are moving on. I'm in coronary care, and the evidence for my fainting whilst running story has now shown an arrthymia at the time of the fall, effectively stopping my heart functioning, leading to the drop in blood pressure and the syncope event. It's

CHEST Pain
For those who have replied and given me advice about 111 and hospital treatment, to my recent post about chest pain thank you, here is the next chapter. Because of the advice and my needing to know what the pain was, I contacted our GP surgery. Around 3,45 pm a doctor rang to ask what the problem was

Worried
Thursday evening I started to get palpitations, they were mild to what I’ve had before so I (stupidly) didn’t go to hospital. They subsided after 2 hours but my heart continued racing over 100bpm so after a few more hours I went to a&e. They did an ecg and hooked me up to fluids and gave me a dose of

Calling any Wellue 24 hour ecg users! - can anyone advise?
I’ve been looking to buy a device that can do continuous monitoring to catch the pesky arrhythmias that my Kardia can’t (eg when I wake up in the night, or just short bursts in the day). I think the closest I can get is the Wellue 24 hour monitoring device, but it’s a big outlay, and I wondered if anyone

Mobitz 1 🫠
Hi, I’m 37 and just been told I have Mobitz 1. Well, I had a holter ECG and it’s showed up on there where my pause lasted for 3 seconds. I’m actually in the midst of dry January and I’d ran 60 mile this month so it came like a bolt out of the blue. I’ve had two fainting episodes, one which was 7 year

Bradycardia + High Blood pressure
Hi all, my story is a bit convoluted so I hope you will bear with me. I’m a 42 yr old man and my high BP was first picked up when I was 18. I was a fit and healthy teenager so at the time the doctor wasn’t concerned. I’m afraid I can’t remember what my BP was as I just didn’t really worry about it
