So I've been put in blood pressure meds by G.P am already on Clopidigrel and statin due to 2 Tia's 3 /4 years ago. Should I not be followed up by Cardiologist?

Follow up by a cardiologist?You stand more chance winning the lottery! I had a HA Oct ‘22 and have experienced various aches and twinges in my left chest and eventually got a face to face with a doctor having previously received 2-3 phone consultations.I had the usual checks done including a ESG which was showing abnormalities and had to make my way to A&E for further examination.After 5hrs I was sent home as no treatment was required and no real explanation was given.I and many others are of the opinion that once the cardiologist fixes your plumbing his work ends there !Dont get me wrong I’m extremely grateful for my overall NHS care .
