I hope someone can help me with this: I am having cataract surgery next week and wonder if any of the medications on this list, which they MAY use, would have an adverse effect on my RLS: ofloxacin (antibiotic) qetorolac (anti- inflammatory) prednisitone (steroid) versed (pre-op sedative) propofol

i got this results Albúmina *4.10 g/dL 4.20 - 5.50 down Inmunoglobulina M *102.80 mg/dL 40.00 - 80.00 up and the dr prescibe me every 12 hrs drink norfloxacin 400 mg and 100 fenazoprin witch is one tablet will i damage more the kidney or drink it every 24 hrs the reason why he prescribe this

The urine culture came back with pus cells so got put on ofloxacin for 2 weeks because they think it maybe is prostatitis. Anyway did nothing and still have severe symptoms. My urge to go toilet us constant.

Hi, I've almost finished my 28 day course of antibiotics (rifaximin) but without a noticeable positive effect on my symptoms till now. There are some alternatives to try (neomycin, augmentin, ciprofloxacin, metronidazole , norfloxacin, etc.) and I am curious which one you have had and if it had lasting

I’ve taken metronidazole years ago and had no issues (pre Fibro/cfs) I’ve seen people say ofloxacin is a dangerous drug that some people believe caused their ME as it “poisons” the body or it can paralyse you etc. Panicking 😭

Been put on ofloxacin and metronidazole. I’m taking 6 antibiotics a day for 2 weeks started on Friday. Do antibiotics flare up/make your symptoms worse? Severe nausea and headaches. My body is in agony especially upper shoulders/lower back and having cold sweats.

He prescribed Ofloxacin. fortunately my scan was scheduled for the 5th Jan requested by the radiology team. Around the 3rd of Jan my left testicle started to feel puffy and a bit sore. But not so much pain.

I went to my gp who prescribed me with ofloxacin and metronidazole for 14 days I completed the treatment. After treatment I had unprotected sex with a long term partner who was treated for chlamydia and had no symptoms after treatment. After having sex I have noticed yellow discharge.

Since stopping the ofloxacin my cough has got worse but sputum is still pale green. It feels harder to puff all the way out but otherwise feel fine.

He gave me two weeks of ofloxacin which worked for a bit but gradually my lungs got worse. So far I have had three lots of ofloxacin this year and finishing the third lot today (no doctor's visits or sputum samples due to Covid). I exercise vigorously and do chest clearance three times a day.

I rang my doctor back up he then he prescribed Exocin eye drops (ofloxacin) which I used for 2 to 3 days, with the result of my tennitus stopping.

They have started me on a two week antibiotic course of metronidazole and Ofloxacin to treat me for Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. I’m 6 days into my antibiotics and the pains are still there, is this normal to still have the pains?

doctors 11th July pain in bum (sharp stabbing pains) and pain in pubic area and they sent off a water sample, came back clear, pain was bearable, up until the 2nd/3rd week were I could hardly walk, went back to the doctors who did swabs to check for cervical infection etc, was put on metrodizanol and ofloxacin

For condition taht caused by chlamydia and gonorrhea and enteric organisms (eg, in men who engage in rectal intercourse), Ceftriaxone plus Levofloxacin once a day for 10 days or Ofloxacin twice a day for 10 days.

I recently discovered that I developed an infection and have been on Ofloxacin and Metronidazole and they've been making me so ill.  I'm in absolute agony and I just can't cope anymore. Constant pain is absolutely awful and I don't know how much more I can take 

The same precaution should apply to other antibiotics in the same class, such as levofloxacin (LEVAQUIN), lomefloxacin (MAXAQUIN), monifloxacin (AVELOX), norfloxacin (NOROX-IN), and ofloxacin (FLOXIN).
