Intensifying ADT?
I am fortunate to have found this forum with invaluable advice generously given, sometimes with opposing points of view which add to insights. Any views about a preferred addition to ADT in a relatively newly diagnosed metastatic PC r would be most welcome, not the least since although doc and clinic

Mercury T3 not working with short date or HRT affecting thyroid meds?
Hi Everyone Hope you are all well. I am just wondering does HRT impact our thyroid medication in any way? I was doing well on T3 but since December 2020 I have gone downhill. I started HRT probably about two years ago. I am trying to work out if it’s the meds not being effective ( they are dated June

Oestrogen 😩 and T3, could it be?
So I’ve been on the same T3 dose for months now with few issues. I also take progesterone cream and the only time things have gone awry is if I’ve stopped it. It clearly has a big effect on T3 absorption for me. Stupidly, I recently tried pregnenolone as I suffer still from muscle fatigue and weakness

Diagnosis
Both are progesterone and
oestrogen
receptor positive, but one also has the HER2 protein marker. Because of that I get the entire gold package; surgery, reconstruction, chemo for 6-12 months with hair loss counselling and wig advice, radiation therapy and finally hormone therapy for 5-10 years.

COVID versus Fibro
The assumed difference could be
oestrogen
hormone. Also, the onset of Fibro in many or most cases seems to follow a serious disease and emotional trauma combined. Long COVID seems to report much like Fibromyalgia.

Menopause/POI and endo, where can I find support?
I have Stage 4 endo and started HRT 2 months ago as I'm quite far down the line of perimenopause. I'm 40 and I have 2 children aged 4 and 1 (no-one quite knows how my ovaries did it). I have had awful symptoms for so much of my life I put the extreme fatigue of the past couple of years and about 1,000

Thin lining during FET cycle - any success stories?
They’ve added
oestrogen
patches to my progynova regime to try and give it a boost. Has anyone had success in thickening their lining over such a short time frame? I not feeling hopeful.

My GP has recommended taking progestogen-only pills to stop constant bleeding caused by progestogen-only implant - how will this help?
There are plenty of resources out there about the overall menstrual cycle and how
oestrogen
and progesterone work together... but I can't find anything specifically about the effects of progesterone levels, & why an increase in the hormone can cause bleeding while a *further* increase in the hormone

Can anyone recommend an endo who checks and treats sex hormone imbalances alongside Hashimotos? I think I have estrogen dominance.
I'm looking for someone who looks at the whole picture and treats holistically. I have a list from thyroid UK but have no idea about the merits of each person. I may benefit from reviewing my thyroid meds as well. Thanks in advance.

Why Do I Need Such A Massive Dose Of T3?
I started taking T3, T4 and NDT meds around 2 years ago - the dosage that keeps me functional is 80mcg of T3 (but 100mcg is better), and 3 capsules of 300mg ThyroGold (equivalent to around 4-5 grains of NDT I've been told). When I try and switch it out for 200mcg of T4 or 100mcg of T4, the relief of

Start Cerazette at age 51?
I am 51 and my periods won´t stop. I have been on HRT for the past seven years - first Oestrogel (Besins Healthcare) + Utrogestan (two pumps of Oestrogel for 25 days a month, Utrogestan 200 mg for ten days a month). Then, when I turned 50, my doctor suggested using HRT daily. Since Oestrogel was out

Blood test- 9 days after FET
Hello I had an FET done on 2/24 and had a blood test done on 3/5. Our embryo was a 5 day blastocyst. My result came back negative and with my doctor’s direction stopped taking the progesterone in oil and the estrogen. My test was done 9 days after my transfer. Most post I am reading talk about 2 weeks
