7 keto DHEA is a parent hormone that is not converted to steroid hormone such as androgen and estrogen. It is used to improve lean body mass and build muscle, increase the activity of the thyroid gland, boost the immune system, enhance memory and slow aging. I am on lupron and xtandi. Have been experiencing muscle loss and have some cognitive issues. Cannot find informaton wheter this safe or not in the enviroment of prostate cancer. Any thoughts.

As the AR mutates it becomes sensitive to new ligands. It may not activate a healthy AR, but no one can guarantee it won't later.

Thanks Tall_Allen....So your thought is that the AR could become sensitive to the parent hormone?

I have no idea if it will or not. I'm only pointing out a risk.
