PSA after restarting ADT
I restarted ADT with Eligard on August 31 2020 when my PSA was 0.453 and Testosterone 147. Today my PSA is 0.266 and Testosterone < 20. When I started Lupron + Casodex in November 2018 my PSA was 4.48, which dropped to 0.17 in just three months. This time, why the rate of PSA drop is much slower? During

Starting Xtandi
The oncologist has just added Xtandi, if we can get help paying for it, to my husband getting Lupron injections! His cancer had mestazied to his shoulder for which he had radiation. My husbands PSA is 0.70 right now. His cancer is aggressive Gleason 9 stage 4. He tolerates the Lupron okay with some side

Hello I think this is good news my dad was on xtandi for 3 month brought his PSA low . 66 but it had a lot of debilitating side effect so we stopped and didn’t try anything more. Prostate Cancer with Covid
In Nov 2019 [at age 79] I was diagnosed with prostate cancer with a PSA of 96.2. The subsequent biopsy showed a Gleason 5+4 adenocarcinoma in 12 of 12 cores; clinical stage T3a, N0, M0. A bone scan and CT scan were negative for metastatic disease. But extraprostatic extension at the right apex with involvement

Could anyone tell me why some people do better than others? Are there many strains out there of PCa? I haven't had a PSA in like 3 months but I've had a .04 last time. I was diagnosed in mid 2012 and it's been lupron and Xtandi. I'm at NIH in a clinical trial but others I've known there have died. When

Long Strange Journey
I was diagnosed with Prostate cancer in July 2020. PSA of 35 and Gleason score of 8. Second opinion from Johns Hopkins indicated a g score of 6. My local utility's pathologist agreed after reexamination. How can my PS A be a 35 and my Gleason be 6? Just finished 5 1/2 weeks of external radiation and

G9. 3b. RP. PSA going into SRT .039, up from .023. My 7 months of ADT expired the 23rd of last month. PSA and T are still undetectable. Still feel all the bad side effects of the lupron. Doc says no more Lupron , just wait and see. My PSA stayed at .023 for a year after RP until I went on vacation

Good morning all. My question is....why would my urologist talk me out of having my prostate removed after I told him that was my thought after I found out that I have prostate cancer. My cancer didn’t spread , so then we decided to have 45 days of radiation treatments and 2 years of Lupron ( 1 shot

Use of Nitric Oxide booster For Covid treatment found to Reverse 2 month doubling time in My Brother
My brother 27 years after diagnosis of PCa got off of Xtandi and Lupron Nov 2019 with it still working ( after 4 yrs On) because at 85 yrs it was making walking very difficult. I suggested he try "Nitric Oxide Booster (Snap Inc.)" to fight Covid and with hope it would make his leg muscles stronger
