Use of Nitric Oxide booster For Covid treatment found to Reverse 2 month doubling time in My Brother

My brother 27 years after diagnosis of PCa got off of Xtandi and Lupron Nov 2019 with it still working ( after 4 yrs On) because at 85 yrs it was making walking very difficult. I suggested he try "Nitric Oxide Booster (Snap Inc.)" to fight Covid and with hope it would make his leg muscles stronger in June 2020 when his PSA had risen to 6.2 and was doubling in less than two months. In August his PSA=5.2 and in October it was PSA=2.2. If you google Nitric oxide you will find papers that say when it is low PCa grows and when it is high NO slows PCa. ( I did not know of this effect when I recommended it.) Also older men only have about 5% of the NO of a 20 year old. Has any one else experience this benefit of NO ??? Best Pedro Luna

There is this study from University of Miami about benefits of NO in cases of CRPC.

How about drinking beet root juice daily ?

Good brother! That is cool . Anything to help !

I have been using a nitroglycerine patch for a few years, based on a Canadian study.

It is the best way to deliver a steady dose of nitric oxide.

In my view, the primary benefit is to counteract hypoxia in tumors that have outgrown their blood supplies. Otherwise, the cells produce HIF-1alpha [Hypoxia Inducible Factor 1alpha], which is associated with treatment resistance/failure.

I added Nitric Oxide as part of my penile rehab regiment, needed after ADT!! Really needed!!! I know it gets the blood flowing but have not heard anything about fighting PC!! Hurrah for me if it in fact does!!! I know for sure it makes a difference in exercise / endurance and can only assume it helps with my restoring little jimmy!!!Jim C

Hi George. I use an OTC supplement from Erwins. I don’t think one should take it if activity wasn’t planned!!! I did a couple times and Felt kind of like “crawling out of my skin”! This is why I know it has a positive effect!!!Good luck and Merry Christmas!!!
