Cabbage juice and peptic ulcer / natural healing
The
NSAIDS
I was given (indeed that I need for all my joints) have given me a peptic ulcer which I have written about before, which is also giving me much misery. I have tried lansoprazole, ranitidine and omeprazole and I hate to say it but they all seem to have exacerbated the acid reflux.

A bit of everything
This is where I get even trickier though as I can't take any painkillers,
NSAIDs
give me terrible reflux of which I'm already experiencing and codeine makes me too sleepy to work. I also had a steroid injection once and point blank refuse to have any more due to the excruciating agony of it.

I keep telling docs that the opiates do not work, it's the

that are helping, I would happily give all others back if I could take 3/4 x more
nsaids
each day. I have tried doing this, (I know they cause damage but i had had enough of being fobbed off with more and more opiates.)

The irony of a diagnosis
It is strange but I was quite relieved to hear I was positive. I will tell you why: About 5 years ago, I was working in social care and was asked to do a health check to work on the hospital ward. I did a mantoux screening test for tuberculosis and I was meant to have a swelling but I did not, so the
