Poorly managed pain
I cannot take the tramadol and
NSAIDS
are off limits due to stage 3 kidney disease. These doctors are cruel as hell! Maybe I can sue their incompassionate asses! I am fed up and spend my days in bed just shaking in pain. This is real and not exaggerated.

So, you have HIV?
Confused, sad, scared, lonely, overwhelmed. That’s how I felt. My mental health wasn’t great when I was diagnosed so processing then accepting the result was tough. My stubborn personality (and interest in the human body) led me to research the information/facts around HIV and how it affects the

Why not NSAID's?
What are the objections to
NSAIDs
and AF? I occasionally take a low dose NSAID for muscle pain.

Can someone please advise me what

Hi Everyone - I'm new here and was diagnosed with RA in January. I also have Chronic Kidney Disease.
The CKD prevents me from taking
NSAIDS
. So I am on Plaquenil and can only use Tylenol for pain relief. The pain is worse at night and it severely impacts my sleep. Anyone else have this scenario? Any suggestions? Thank you!

NSAIDs Might Cause More Harm Than Previously Believed
NSAIDs
like aspirin, Motrin, Advil, and Celebrex suppress inflammation and are often used by athletes to reduce the pain associated with intense exercise. However, new research shows that those who take them may experience just as much soreness after a workout than those who don't.

Thrilled to have found this site!
Now, I can't take
NSAIDS
, which I have not relied upon, so that's good. I've read a few posts, and it seems very interesting to read posts from people so far away. Not even a complaint about Trump, LOL. You Brits look very good from this side of the ocean.

Struggling...
I'm also frightened of this as mum messed up her stomach with
NSAIDS
over the years, plus a friend's sister developed an addiction to prescription pain killers and last year overdosed.

unsure of test
So I had unprotected sex recently. I freaked out as he was a drug user. According to him he tests every 3 months for his program. I did a home HIV test negative. I have had a cold and so I decided to take a responsible approach and get tested again at a doctors. I did every STD test and everything came

CKD 3
It might be the prescription
nsaids
and/or prilosec or that I wasn't drinking any water due to overactive bladder. Anyway, I've been on the renal diet plus playing Pickleball 3x a week for fun and exercise and my egfr went from 47 to 52. I'm 67 and do not want to do dialysis.

Pain medication for prostate cancer that has spread only to the bones. Is opiate pain medication always necessary?
Let me add that he does not want tylenol,
nsaids
, pain patches or anything of that ilk; he just wants oxycontin and when he can get it, oxycodone. I would love to hear from anyone who has avoided opiates for pain relief, and what they use instead. Thanks,

Bowel pain / codeine
Anyway I think all the pain relief I can have will be opiates, I can't have
NSAIDs
because of upper gastric problems. Any thoughts? Ps I use heatmat as much as possible. Wish I could find a portable one. Used to have tens machine but my skin just got wrecked from the pads and tape.

Still wondering what to do ?
Being allergic to naproxen also excludes
NSAIDs
and I cannot take Prednisone. What makes me angry is they 'doctors' seem to do nothing about all the other conditions like reflux, insominia, bletharitis tenovitis ..I have not seen anyone from orthopaedics either. It is like they have given up.
