unsure of test

So I had unprotected sex recently. I freaked out as he was a drug user. According to him he tests every 3 months for his program. I did a home HIV test negative. I have had a cold and so I decided to take a responsible approach and get tested again at a doctors. I did every STD test and everything came out negative. So now a guy that I was seeing is saying he has a sore throat after he slept with me. He was tested and it was negative. But now he has freaked me out and I am questioning the test. It was a HIV 1/2 Antigen/antibody fourth generation.

Should I test again since I have my cold still
