Should I be worried?
Hi again. Should I be worried about hiv? I don’t have other symptoms and I got the mark on my finger and that worried me. I rushed to my doctor and she said I shouldn’t worry because it doesn’t look like a syringe stick, but now I’m convinced that it is and I have gotten hiv. I’m afraid that I have hiv

The enemy is chronic inflammation. Anti-inflammatory foods -- and herbs that reduce inflammation. (I don't think NSAIDs are good for us.)

Hiv rash?
Hiv rash? I haven’t had sex but worried about that mark on my finger. The doctor don’t want to test me. I’m afraid this is hiv rash. I don’t have another symptoms. This is only on my boobs and over body.

The Hallmarks of Cancer: Preserving Health and Longevity while fighting Prostate Cancer
Effective pharmacologic anti-inflammatories include low-dose aspirin,
NSAIDS
, especially the COX2 inhibitor celecoxib, and statins, among others. Overall inflammatory status can be checked with simple blood tests such as CRP and ESR among others.

10 Topical Pain Relievers of Varying Potency For Localized Treatment of Pain That are Readily Available
As an example of this, consider
NSAIDS
such as ibuprofen, naproxen and aspirin, three very common pain relievers that are reasonably effective for moderate pain reduction, but are known to cause damage to the gut, even with relatively short term use in some people.

Fatigue in Autoimmune Diseases
One cause of iron-deficiency anemia is taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (
NSAIDs
) for pain relief and to reduce inflammation. In some people, this can cause ulcers or gastritis, which may lead to gastrointestinal bleeding, and eventually, iron-deficiency anemia.

Knee pain, would a knee brace help?
I avoid
nsaids
as they interfere with cartilage regeneration. Am thin, and have managed over the past few years to injure my left knee twice.

Gabapentin stopped working
Gabapentin? I have taken this for about two years' 3 x 300mg a day and it had alleviated the horrible pain somewhat. I have gained about a stone in weight and I am bloated all of the time. Also I find it difficult to urinate. However, the drug now seems to have lost a lot of it's efficacy and I am

When to see a nephrologist?
After I had an endoscopy the doctor told me to never take
NSAIDS
because of the kidney disease. So, now I don’t. No one had ever mentioned that before. When do I see a nephrologist? I am also on the Parkinson’s Disease Forum. I have parkinsonism.

New diagnosis
I’ve been told that this was my only treatment option alongside
NSAIDs
which I’m allergic to. My biggest problem is severe fatigue and I’m finding this difficult to manage alongside full time work and a busy family life. I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed so any advice would be gratefully received!

Coming off long term PPIs?
I was on a high dose of
NSAIDS
for a long time before this due to hip dysplasia pain. Since going on PPIs I’ve developed extreme IBS symptoms, low iron levels and lots of other issues.

HIV transmission through scratching
Hi. I’m HIV positive and has reach undetectable viral load on March this year (2020). Just now i was playing outside with my 5 year old sister and she accidentally scratched my arm with her nails and I noticed the scratch has caused an open wound. Can she get HIV from this? I’m really worried.

Protective role of ibuprofen.
Taking ibuprofen or aspirin lowered the risk of penetrance of the mutation in the LRRK2 gene, prompting less risk of developing Parkinson's disease. The study suggests that nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs could be a modifiable determinant of LRRK2 penetrance. https://journals.lww.com/neurotodayonline
