Manage relapse without steroids
Has anyone managed flare ups with
NSAIDS
only? I would really like to avoid more steroids. I notice on this forum that there are some claims that not treating PMR with steroids will a) make it worse and b) increase the likelihood of GCA.

Back Issues
This may seem like a topic unrelated to AF. It is my experience that nerve issues in the back could be a factor. Unfortunately, heart doctors do not explore this possibility even though the cause of AF has still not been determined. The comment on NSAID's is probably worth considering. They may inhibit

HIV variation help?
Treated for chlamydia nearly two weeks ago I’m booked in for a retest on Wednesday and now a H.I.V test too. Today I got a call saying a sexual partner has a ‘H.I.V variant’ in this bloods he sent off. Can anyone shed any light on this as the doctor didn’t give him much of information and now it’s slightly

I was told I can’t take
NSAIDs
either because of the steroids and my stomach lining.

Shingles - part 3
She asked me to ask the pharmacist about Naproxen and
NSAIDs
generally with things like shingles and chicken pox - she thought that it's not a good idea and to stick to cocodamol etc. Anyway, that's the update!

Gabapentin and pregabalin alternatives that don’t cause weight gain
I cannot take
NSAIDS
as years of taking them have given me stomach ulcers. I was prescribed gabapentin and pregabalin which helped nerve pain from my spine but I gained 3and a half stone. I came off them and managed to get my weight down.

SSRI's, PPI's, antidepressants and LFTS ?
I have had so many problems this year it almost seems that its not one thing but the next. I find these sites, the (IBS) as well so good, as we have all been forced to see so called experts that fob us off most of the time. I work in the field of mental health and If i am told once more that things are

It is not Sunday - but I thought I would update you on my diet experiment
On Sunday, I also stopped taking Naproxen - so have had no
NSAIDS
at all. My left wrist, which was giving me some problems is not right, but it is a bit better, the pain is less, and the swelling hasn't returned to the levels pre-methotrexate so is only slight.

Results:Ibuprofen was significantly more effective against human prostate cancer cells in vitro than the other tested nonprescription NSAID
However, when the pharmacokinetics of selective COX-2 inhibitors and other

5 months ago I had unprotected sex with a man I met on Reddit, three weeks later I started distributing flu like symptoms; afraid I have HIV
I 18F started showing signs of HIV 3 weeks after I stupidly had sex with a complete stranger who told me he was clean but I am now 90% sure was HIV positive, me being the dumbass that I am didn't see the red flags until it all set and done; I researched all of the symptoms two days after the encounter

The enemy is chronic inflammation. Anti-inflammatory foods -- and herbs that reduce inflammation. (I don't think NSAIDs are good for us.)

Should I be worried?
Hi again. Should I be worried about hiv? I don’t have other symptoms and I got the mark on my finger and that worried me. I rushed to my doctor and she said I shouldn’t worry because it doesn’t look like a syringe stick, but now I’m convinced that it is and I have gotten hiv. I’m afraid that I have hiv

10 Topical Pain Relievers of Varying Potency For Localized Treatment of Pain That are Readily Available
As an example of this, consider
NSAIDS
such as ibuprofen, naproxen and aspirin, three very common pain relievers that are reasonably effective for moderate pain reduction, but are known to cause damage to the gut, even with relatively short term use in some people.
