Coming off NSAIDs for the week - what else can I take without affecting blood tests?
I'm seeing the rheumy next Monday, and I'm following advice given here and elsewhere to come off

Low GFR
My GFR went from 54 in 2014, to 41 last month. My cholesterol is 254. I have to go redo my blood tests in 2 month. My GP told me that he is baffled at why my GFR keeps dropping. My blood pressure is good, I am not a diabetic. After reading all of your posts, I think I know why GFR is decreasing. I have

Been to the doc's
Tests to confirm SLEEP APNOEA- Refferal to sleep clinic Also had a check up for my osteoarthritis - As the
NSAIDs
have not been as effective as would have hoped, I have now been prescribed capsaicin cream - which will have to be rubbed in by Steph as I can't reach/see below my belly button.

Help/Advice..
I have been prescribed a multitude of meds and contraceptives:
NSAIDs
, Codeine based tablets, pills potions, you name it, i've probably had it at some stage. I was diagnosed with Endo 3 years ago when I finally convinced a GP to refer me to a gynae.

NSAIDS affecting blood tests
Good evening, just a quick question. Does Naproxen lower the CRP and ESR levels ? Nurse trying to get me accepted for biologics, she asked if I would be willing to stop mtx for a month to see if it will make my crp rise, but I can ring straight away if too much discomfort. Wondered after about Naproxen

Endoscopy tomorrow
Hi all, I am due to have another endoscopy tomorrow (yes, Saturday) for the horrendous acid reflux I have had since being on
NSAIDS
from November / December since shoulder surgery. However, I am not sure what to do about my medication. I usually take 100mg of Thyroxine between 6-7am every morning.

The Anti-Inflammatory Diet
Even common anti-inflammatory medications, such as Advil or Aleve (known as
NSAIDs
), may have potential for reducing cancer risk. But an important question, of course, is ‘how can we use lifestyle to decrease inflammation?’.

I have been leery of taking
NSAIDS
since my diagnosis because I want to preserve my stomach as a GI bleed could be catastrophic. I became suspicious of the estrogen because the hip pain started when I changed from the injection to the patch and I believe the dosages were slightly different.
