Now I'm scared!
Well... finally met with a lung specialist. He advised me that I have chronic emphysema and may want to get on a lung transplant list. After a long walk it was determined my oxygen saturation levels dropped to 55. So he put me on oxygen level 3 mostly when active or moving about. I was so overwhelmed

This community is such an amazing one! When my mom was diagnosed back in 2013, I was so shocked at how little awareness was out there, how few support groups, etc... Lung cancer was all new to me & I didn't have many people to turn to for support. Many didn't know what to say or hadn't experienced

Hello
I am glad that I found this site, I followed a link and it brought me to you. I am 77 years old and I have multiple health problems. I have recently come out of hospital after an eleven day stay with pneumonia. Amongst other health problems I have a very rare inherited blood disorder called porphyria

GIANT CELL TEMPORAL ARTERITIS AND THE LINK TO SEIZURES
It is 4 years plus since I was diagnosed with GCA [double vision etc, etc] and 2 years ago when down to 1mg of Prednisolone I had a relapse. I'm down to 2.5 mg of Pred now and continuing with a slow reduction. However, last year I had a seizure and had three more since. There is a research paper by P.L.Silbert

The Miracle
I need to share my story. It not only goes to praise the advancements in cancer research, but to praise the Miracle of Prayer and Positive Thinking. Yes. I was not going to die, even though the odds were not in my favor. I was diagnosed with Stage 4, inoperable Lung Cancer in both lungs, and sentenced
