Silent Reflux after Lung Surgery for Early Cancer
I had a right lower lobectomy in February. My consultant is pleased with my recovery and I am now just being monitored. However after this surgery I had symptoms develop that lead me to now believe I have silent reflux or LPR. I've had an endoscopy that found only mild gastritis. I take Esomeprazole

Update MRI shows no new stroke so going with a flare up of gca. Back up to 20 mg pred daily and feeling loads better. My consultant is going to start me on tocilizumab soon just waiting for appointment. Weird symptoms for a flare and she's still suspicious of tia but hey as she keeps telling me I'm

Parietal cell antibody test
I know I'm repeating myself but want to be clear. Is it correct that if you test negative for this it's reliable? I've not had the intrinsic factor test. I'm asking as I'm getting the vibe as one year in now the surgery want to decrease my B12 injections. B12 was put on my latest blood form after

Severe silicosis found among fabricators of engineered quartz stone.
Respirable crystalline silica exposure causes silicosis, a disabling and sometimes fatal lung disease. Clusters of cases have been reported internationally among stone countertop fabrication workers, but only one U.S. case in this industry has been reported previously. https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes

Adenocarcinoma Recurrence
I have just learned that I definitely have a recurrence of my adenocarcinoma from my LLL lobectomy 2.5 years ago. PET scan and brain MRI next week. Then we will know whether it is stage 3 or 4. We will plot our course of action at that point. New territory for me. Best to you all, Rick
