I've just had my implant removed and a new one fitted and two days later if I move my arm a certain way I'm getting pain were the implant is as though it's catching a nerve and it really hurts ,this is my fourth implant and ive never had this happen before ,I'm going to go back to the clinic but unfortunately

Nexplanon and PCOS
I have an appointment booked to get the implant (
Nexplanon
) at the end of the month but I'm starting to have doubts about it, after conversations with my mum and boyfriend, who both think it's a bad idea. Has anyone used the implant (
Nexplanon
) as birth control? What were your experiences with it?

How long should I give nexplanon
I got
Nexplanon
about 5 weeks ago. I was having horrendous post period pain when tri-cycling my combined pill (marvelon) which lasted about a week and left me crying when I tried to pee, so I was pretty miserable.

Impact of Progesterone on Hyperthyroid
I recently had the
Nexplanon
implant fitted (progestogen-only contraceptive implant); I asked my Endo whether this was ok and was told it should not interfere. However, I came across some interesting research on the impact of progesterone on Thyroid Function and Autoimmune Diseases.

Nexplanon Implant to IUD Coil
I have been on the
Nexplanon
Implant for 5yrs and I donāt feel it works for me, I am often getting extremely long periods (several weeks) that are fairly light, but constant spotting. I have noticed when I am bleeding that I can be very unreasonable and needy/clingy with others.

Update
So I've had the
nexplanon
implant since the 19th March. I've been getting on okay with it with some slight bleeding ever so often but not so much pain. Then on the 16th June, I got some pain.

Mefanamic acid, painkillers and advice about moving area
I had a
Nexplanon
fitted in January (to try and reduce symptoms) and my periods stopped until this month... I have a cyst at the moment too, and when I bled the pain on my RHS (where the cyst is) is was absolute agony - into my back and leg and I could hardly walk for two days.

Big Life Update
The only thing Iāve been on in
Nexplanon
which is a birth control implant. I had it removed because it was almost time to get a new one and have a consultation for the possibility of having an IUD placed that would last 10 years.

Help
I am on the
nexplanon
so I do not get periods. But I do get brownish blood and clots from time to time. Usually when the pain is at its worst I can feel it in my back also and sometimes down my left leg. I have felt pretty tired too. The pain is always in the same spot.

Not the usual symptoms. Advice?
Hello, I remember researching Endometriosis last year when, coming to the end of my
nexplanon
life, my normal periods return. Which involves pain and non stop bleeding for weeks and weeks on end. When my new implant was put in, it all calmed down and I don't get periods at all anymore.

Some days donāt hurt as bad as others (
nexplanon
and wine are to be credited on these days) so I encouraged him to let loose if you will.. and now here I am... In tears, and unable to explain to him after I just told him to āgo nutsā for lack of a better term, that Iām in pain.
