Hey! Was just looking for anyone who has/had the IUD contraception? Just an overall thoughts about it, any side affects etc? Thinking of changing from nexplanon implant to coil and just wanted some other opinions! Thanks😊

I had a copper coil for years, it was brilliant. You can just get on with you life after it’s fitted. Hurt like hell getting it done though. But worth it. Also had the mirena coil. But had bleeding problems on it . Hope that helps

Hi, I had a copper Nova7 for about 30yrs, had no problems at all. As others have said, some discomfort when they’re put in or changed, but not that bad. And you just get on with life without side affects! Hope this helps.
